FIRST! [sarcasm]
No seriously I'm writing I'm writing.
I really enjoy this type of ridiculous back and fourth. where the "straight" guy is just as ridiculous as the comedic one, and they are discussing a topic that is absolutely outrageous. It makes me glad.
Where did you guys shoot this?

It's sketches like this that make me fall in love with you guys all over again. The acting was great, everyone was spot on.
I also like the fact that the only other things paul had packed were a towel and starcraft.

It's the stinger that got me. I was giggling for like 5 minutes.

Even when I can see where jokes are heading ("...at my gentleman's area?"), they're performed and timed so well that they're still funny. Awesome video.

Another UVic shoot, I'm guessing? I think it could have gone further, but it was still quite humourous, so I guess it worked.

You really have to watch out for the Blood Lycra these days.

Re: Unaccustomed
Ah, I do love LRR vids where they take something ordinary and spin it on its head. Some good chuckles to be had whilst watching this one, the last joke before the credits fell a little flat for me, but the Stinger had me properly laughing.
Re: Unaccustomed
This is a Kathleen script, isn't it?
It was really funny to see Matt and Paul acting as though they were both high, totally excellent performance, guys.

So, this is Paul's character shortly before Crime and Punishment then?
Stinger was excellent, Paul was Paul; nothing to complain about here.

Re: Unaccustomed
Hmm... I... don't know.
It was good, performed and shot really well, and cleverly written, but... it felt, to me at least, like it lacked a point. Maybe I'm just more used to/comfortable with the "straight guy versus nusto guy" sketches, but this seemed a bit... meandering? "Unfinished" isn't the right word, but I guess I just felt it lacked something. But then, of the last month, this has been my least favourite video and it still made me giggle, so props to you guys.

The sketch was good and the stinger made it great..
Kinda predictable in that something mundane was bound to be banned, but wollen underpants? That came unexpected.

Re: Unaccustomed
I loved how the way to fix the cotton/poly blend problem was simply to cut the underwear in half.
Overall, it was silly without being over the top and fast-paced, with a nice, steady stream of humor. Good work.
I also share the sentiment of a few others in thinking this seems to be the same universe as Crime and Punishment.

Re: Unaccustomed
Similar to Crime and Punishment, although sillier, but the stinger really sold it for me (basically ditto on what everyone else said).
Also, was that a Right to the Source reference? Or maybe Unnatural Resources, since that was apparently earlier... or has the LRR crew simply had Minecraft on the brain for the past two and a half years?

My first thought while watching was Kathleen but later I thought that it simply wasn't obscene enough to be a Kathleen script. When the credits rolled my questions were answered.
Anyway, on topic. This is the kind of absurdity and ridiculousness I love to see from LRR.
Re: Unaccustomed
The lack of a defined straightman was intentional. When you've written as many sketches as we have, you like to mix it up, and I personally love the occasional video set in a complete mad world.
It let's you really play with expectation when a character responds briefly as one would expect, only to immediately turn it on its head and for that new, odd viewpoint to be accepted by the other character.
This isn't a "defense" btw. Just an explanation of my thought process.

Re: Unaccustomed
I can appreciate that style, however I felt as though it didn't go anywhere. Funnily enough I thought it had lots of great 'jokes' though, which is interesting considering you guys (LRR) tend to qualify some of our criticisms as saying a sketch 'doesn't have enough jokes'. Or at least have in some of the podcasts.

Amusing video. Going through customs has become semi regular for me.

You deserved that writing credit, and imma let you finish, but Kathleen had the best weird script of the year.
More seriously, though, is it just my imagination, or is the scrolling of the end credits kinda jumpy this week?

Ah, the return of the good old inverted perceptions. The stinger was hilarious, as were Matt and Paul's extremely straight-faced acting.

Re: Unaccustomed
I'm on holiday in Houston at the minute, and going through customs was really irritating, I'm from the UK, and so therefore customs people have to interview me for far too long to determine that I'm only coming here for a holiday, despite having filled in all their wretched forms on the plane there, so this video was hilarious to me.
Great video, yet again
