I feel as though Matt/Paul is an unusual combination, but maybe I'm just insane.
That said, they are the PERFECT picks for this video. Simply because it was MATT and PAUL, "let's hit that shit!" made me summarily lose mine.

Hilariously silly. The way looked James looked at Paul before deciding he should be screened made me lol.

Re: Unaccustomed
A solid video, I can see some subtle links to Crime And Punishment, but that is mostly the '2 people both being weird' idea.
I may have to agree that it lacked an overall purpose, but then so much good comedy does that I'm prepared to say 'To hell with it, it's funny' and enjoy it.

Re: Unaccustomed
Instantly evoked Crime and Punishment, so I'm glad to see this has been a popular comparison. It was fresh on my mind as we've just been trawling the LRR catalogue at work to help corrupt a new employee. Definitely a fan of the "idiot in position of power" vibe in both videos.
Lycra mining may have got me. Although "let's hit that shit" is a strong contender for best one-liner.
Good stuff, guys!

Re: Unaccustomed
This had me giggling the whole way through, and the stinger was fantastic.
The first moment in the corridor, with the plane sound effect, really had me thinking "did they film this in..." and then I realised it was just clever editing.

This one had me laughing at every turn. The acting was great and the insanity kept me going.

Re: Unaccustomed
Decent video, although I do wonder what might have been with, say, James playing a 'straighter' straight man (or maybe that wouldn't have worked so well, who knows).

Re: Unaccustomed
Matt is AWESOME in this as the Nice & Jovial Bureaucrat.
Paul delivers his usual excellent straight man.
And the stinger...priceless.

It just occurred to me that I really like this sort of setup just because WE are the straight man, the viewer. We, in our world, provide the context that shows the absurdity of these characters and this world. I think that's super cool and thought I'd share.

Re: Unaccustomed
I just thought I'd comment that Matt did a fantastic job in this video. Some of the best acting I've seen him do, so kudos.
Just call me Dylan. It's easier to pronounce.

Awesome video! I /love/ this style of comedy. C&P is one of my favourite videos, as is Killer Instinct. I've even written a video in very much the same style and submitted it to G*. Cutting the underwear in half cracked me up, as did the stinger. Good work guys!
