Ah, my bad. I thought this was more of a promotional poster for DB4, not a memorial for DB3.

Issue answered.

I look forward to the alternate coloring.

I've been informing my friends in every way I can think of doing so, and as loudly as possible. Next step: get an announcement on the school's TV channel.

Has anyone made badass posters this year?

If someone would make a pretty good 8x10 sized DB poster, I'd go get it printed and post some around town.

I've never been around for a Desert Bus before! I can't wait to watch this one. Maybe in this one, Paul will GROW a beard for 25,000 dollars :P

They're already up to $577 on donations. Best hour of misery I bought for $40 this year.

Y'know, in Australia, we have a charity event called Movember, in which men grow mustaches to raise money for men's health issues.

I wonder how much it would take to convince ALL the LRR men to grow mo's for Desert Bus? Or at least all the drivers? (Kathleen is permitted to wear a fake mustache.)

For some reason, I think that James, Jer, Bill and Morgan would all be up for that. I think Kathleen would totally wear a fake mustache too.

WOOP! Can't wait. All the preparations...

* Sent off craft along items? [check. seriously, this was so long ago, I've actually forgotten what my items looked like. So... sorry if they're not as goo as I remember XD]
* Visiting loved ones the week before, so we are prepared to stop hearing from each other for a while? [check]
* Scheduling uni work so it has minimal interference with the bus? [check]
* Stock-piling food and beverages so little movement is needed? [yet to do]
* Come up with an excuse for me to watch as much as possible? [ye to do]
* hack the Uni's wireless so I can take my laptop in and watch in classrooms? [yet to do]

Phunny story.

So I met my friend today, and he was like
- Hey, maybe we can watch Desert Bus 4 at my place?
- You mean, WHOLE Desert Bus?
- Yeah, we can stay through night if it's longer.
- Dude. It's a WEEK.
- WUT?

So... i'll be watching it alone ;)
Well, except for the THOUSANDS of people in the chat room ;)

You know, I was thinking, Desert Bus IV: A new hope seems to be the chosen name, and a pretty obvious one given the community, but shouldn't it be "DBIV: The Same Hope"?

As I said to someone on Twitter recently, hope is always shiny and new, no matter how long you've been holding onto it.
