Really early...I've been inactive for a while and since it just happened I figured I'd share my story and some pictures.
My trek began at around 9:00 am, because due to (a) procrastination and (b) being busy with school/work I was unable to get my costume together before the day-of. Anyways, after a trip to Zellers and Staples to get makeup and some cheap clothes and other supplies, I went home and got changed and made my way to the GO Station so I could meet my friends at Union Station in downtown Toronto.
While on the train I did some initial makeup and put together my costume. Once I got to Union I had some time to kill and figured I'd do the rest of my makeup in the Men's bathroom (receiving more than my fair share of odd looks), and left a bloody mess that the Janitor is going to seriously have questions about.
Once my friends arrived we started our trek to Trinity Bellwoods, stopping along to way to have a few drinks from our stash because hey, who goes to something like a Zombie Walk completely sober? This caused us to be late and we missed the inauguration of
Oderus Urungus as the first ever Grand Marshall. But either way there were still a lot of zombies milling around the park, and lots of photographers taking pictures.
After a while we made our way through the route of the Walk, and I was thoroughly lost. Good thing my friend knew where we were otherwise I'd probably still be out there covered in fake blood.
There were some really awesome Zombies out there...and quite a few with professionally done makeup. It was pretty crazy. And without further ado, here are some pictures I had taken of me. (I'm the one with the sandwich board)
