So... Franklin Elway has retired from Viking Secret Wildcard Poker?
Strange video... but still great

I see the scoreboard has Iron Stomach Challenge on it. So what constitutes a decadent iron stomach challenge? Caviar + dodo egg?

I was gonna say, glad to see the return of Elway. I think ISC stands for Indentured Servitude Chess, though.

You're right of course. I thought I was being extra clever there.
Question still stands however

Re: Decadent Sports League
Hmmm...
what other sports could there be?
400 meter freestyle swimming through caviar? probably too mundane.
Which servant would produce the best effect when put through the LHC? That could work, but would leave one hell of a mess.
MIR replica Orbital Destruction. Yeah, that sounds good.

I laughed.
Then I thought to myself that this might not be that big of a hyperbole.
Then I was sad.

I loved the references on the Scoreboard, and the callback to Poker Night.

Damn, I'd almost pay to see those events, if I didn't think that my money would fund it .

Great video, however the swordsmanship of the servants could have been greatly improved.

"MORE DIAMONDS!"

I assume the ammo was made of Phailenite. Also, it was the stinger that did it for me.

Re: Decadent Sports League
Very strange, but in a good way. As soon as the credits started rolling I couldn't wait to see who had writing credits on this one. The chess was definitely the best event, but the whole things was great.

Over the top dark humor... I like it. Not laugh out loud funny like some others, but still great. The people on your head win a biscuit Paul.

For a decadent sports league, it's surprisingly inoffensive. Was Kathleen having an off day when she wrote this one? [sound of Slack Mesa rewinding to check the writing credit] Oh, wait, never mind.

This Indentured Servant Chess game was pretty awesome, though everyone knows the counterpoint to that is the chess game in History of The World Part One.

Great use of the McKinnon building at UVic as a background.

To be honest, the skeet shooting segment reminded me of that movie too.

I did lol, but thought it kinda dragged a little in the middle. Kathleen's piece was good, but lasted a little too long, more crazy sports could have taken place.

Re: Decadent Sports League
Loved everything about this video, apart from one important omission: it really needed music in order to feel authentic, particularly when the logo animation was running. It was a rather weird experience, watching a programme which looked extremely professional except for one aspect which was completely missing.
