Pork dumplings are delicious, no matter which regional variety. Stop the hate. Join us, and eat bread and pig flesh.

No. Pig (save bacon) is disgusting and kind of...uh what's the word for "the opposite of good"?

I dunno about congrats for myself yet. I said I like her, but also noted that I have no idea if it's reciprocated. I mean, it'd be great, of course. I just don't know. :P

I didn't get a response back sadly, she's probably too busy right now. She's doing a crazy workload at college right now, so it's been pretty hard to hang out much lately, even online.

Ah well, no regrets :)

Of course, that doesn't preclude the possiblity of a later rendezvous. ;)

She might also have simply forgotten, you mentioned a heavy workload after all.

Yup entirely possible :)
Unfortunately, the deal for the tickets expired (actually, it ran out!), so I'd have to work a bit harder (and spend 2x as much) to get tickets if she suddenly says yes :P

I'm not concerned though, plenty of other opportunities with her, or other girls.

Yes. Every. One.

If you hadn't noticed, I was setting up a logical thingie. It's close to a paradox but not really.

So, the girl I asked to the craft fair ended up at the artist meet I go to on Wednesdays. She apoligized for not responding to my text, and that she'd gotten distracted by homework. She's not sure if she can make it, but will let me know closer to the event. We then spent the rest of the artist meeting not doing art, and chatting at our own table for 2 hours... (Which has happened the last 2 or 3 times we're both there at the same time).

So, who knows? :)

I really hate that phrase. It's a relationship, not a transaction.

Seriously met, what is it about me that drives you to pick at me? You always seem to have something to say against me, even when I'm just making jokes. You always seem snarky and passive aggresive, like I've done something to offend you.

Hell, I went to edit the post I JUST MADE a mere moment ago, to clarify my humorous intentions, and by the time I add in four words, you've gone out of your way to provoke me.

What gives?

He was making a joke. Just like you.

No-one's trying to provoke; not everything revolves around you.

AND ALL OF A SUDDEN, ON-TOPIC POSTS; THOUSANDS OF THEM!
(errr, at least just the one, to start out, anyway)

I was in a sort-of relationship for just over a year that was not entirely healthy for me (lots of me giving my whole self to him with little to no reciprocation) that I just ended. Surprisingly, no tears were shed... I think that says something profound about the situation in general, and how much I've grown up without realizing it. I love that now I can take a deep breath and not have to worry about someone outside of myself controlling how I feel with the slightest thing. It's pretty awesome. I know that I'll get those twinges of loneliness/missing him, but they'll be temporary. Now, I want to focus on myself. If someone comes along and wants to be with me, that's great, but I'm not going out of my way to seek anyone this time around. I'll let the guys come to me ;)

I wish women would come to me. I unfortunately seem to have some sort of anti force shield thingy surrounding me. I've talked to 3 girls recently that are in my classes and tried to get them talking to me (phone, text, etc.) nothing. I can't seem to get women interested in as anything other than a friend. Oh well. If I got myself a girlfriend my grades would probably start to slip anyway....
