Perfect time to say first, but I don't think the file works. Maybe I'm just too early.

Just so the crew knows, currency is always available on eBay - even eBay.ca. You will find plentiful and cheap dong on eBay. It's well within your prop budget.

If we can figure out some way to pull it off, I'd happily contribute money for the purchase of dong for Desert Bus. I suggest you give some to a few Crew members. They can then be autographed and put up for silent auction. Then it's a contest to figure out which dong is worth the most. The possibilities are otherwise endless and I would be interested in determining whether Graham's dong is worth more than Morgan's dong, for instance.

Marquess is a word + Orcs in Warhammer sound British because the tabletop games are british, and the accents are established in the background materials.

I think the Warhammer Orks are loosely based around British football hooligans, hence the accent.

In all the instances of the word being pronounced in a videogame as "mark-wiss" that I have ever seen, the accompanying spelling in subtitles has been "marquis" which, as per the wikipedia article you linked is the french spelling corresponding tot he pronunciation "mark-ee".

Thus the annoyance. If you wanna pronounce it "mark-wiss" spell it "Marquess".

It is good to have a grandfather who liked to collect matchbooks.
he has hundreds of matchbooks from old weddings, petro stations and restaurants.

he has matchbooks that are almost fifty years old. I could maybe send some.

I too think that Matt is adorable! i think it is the blonde hair.

You all don't play Pokemon... yeah, I can see that. It's not a game for everyone, takes a fandom of capture based RPGs and probably growing up with it in you face all the time. The new Pokemon don't suck, they just aren't the old ones, and some people hate that, and Snap was a good game. Also, go MST3K question! And go Graham for actually giving a response to it! 8)

I'm the mentioned guy with ten thousand dongs, and also some Vietnamese currency. It is something I am utterly willing to hand over to you guys, since 10,000 dongs is about 28 English pence.

Pop me a message if you want all my dongs.

Do this!

That way LRR can auction off a dong signed by the crew during Desert Bus.

Sorry about the apparent confusion. I think that I actually understand what you were trying to say on the podcast now, and get your point. Square being japanese however, they are unlikely to properly understand the distinction.

Dong Status Update: Today I put ten thousand dongs in an envelope and sent it to Canada, courtesy of the Royal Postal Service.

I have no idea how long it'll take the post to cross the sea, though.

10,000 dongs is 28 pence, as I mentioned before. Postage to Canada is 67 pence. Make of that what you will.
