Really considering doing that...but I'm not sure.

Thoughts?

I figured for $7 you can't go wrong with a game as big as GTA4.

YAY! I lucked out and was able to pick up the ID pack! WOOO!!!

It should be noted (as I believe someone here was mistaken on it), you do NOT need Steam installed on the computer your shopping with. You just need to log in to your account on steam.com from your browser, shop, and then when it says "Install Steam" on the confirmation page, just navigate away (after printing your receipts or whatever).

I picked up Killing FLoor for, what... 3 euros? And believe me, it was definitely worth it. In fact, it is still worth it's "normal" price on Steam, which it has now reverted to.

I just got both Fallout 3: GOTY edition and Borderlands.

I figure if I don't get them both now I likely never will.

Well, its Black Friday so I figure I'll get my grave-digging shovel out for this thread.

I probably should've done this when the sales started, but now is as good a time as any I suppose.

The first day of the sale I got both the Deus Ex Collection and Alpha Protocol for $7.50 each. The only reason I got the DX one is because I wanted to play through Invisible War again...having a digital backup copy of the original doesn't hurt though.

Today's sale is:
Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box - 14.99
    Dawn of War 2 + Expansion - 13.60
    Mechanarium - 5.00
    Tropico 3: Gold Edition - 7.50
    Torchlight - 5.00
    Empire: Total War - 14.99
    ARMA2: Operation Arrowhead - 19.99
    Blur - 14.99
    Indie Clever Pack - 4.99

the indie packs have been pretty great so far. 4-6 games usually half or more of them worthwhile for 5$. I have bought all 3 and can't wait to see what they got in store for the remainder of the week. You can find me on steam by adding demonboy100 as a friend. I am The Big Cheese!

Currently they've not got anything on sale that either I haven't already got or that I'm really interested in getting... This appears to be day 3 of 5, however, so does anyone know what we missed the past couple of days?

Yeah, I'd say Alpha Protocol for £5 has been the best deal thus far, and even then Gamersgate still has it for the same price. There's been a list of the indie packs leaked, and if the list for the Pulse pack is accurate then I'll probably proclaim that as the best deal. Although yesterday's pack had Recettear in it for £4, so your mileage may vary.

Waah, I missed out on DoWII for cheap! By that I mean: Steam was showing me DoWII: Gold at 13.60, and I didn't ask my father (because all my monies, Desert Bus, etc.) quick enough and now I have to pay 40 POINTS OF DOLLAR DAMAGE to get it.

The saddest face!

But today (November 27th with 15h:40min remaining), the sale is:

Left4Dead2: 5$
CoD4:MW: 15$
Wings Of Prey : 15$
Supreme Commander 2 :3.75$
Galcon Fusion: 2.50$
King's Bounty: Platinum Ed. : 8.75$
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light : 7.49$
GTA: Episodes :10.20$
AudioSurf + Beat Hazard + BIT.TRIP BEAT + Rhythm Zone + The Polynomial - Space of the music : 5$

Multiplayer funpacks:
6 CS:S :25$
10 NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits 15$
8 Red Faction Guerilla: 40$
6 GTA: Eps 45$

I will now stop doing Valve's work for them.

I'm finding todays sales to be a little boggling. Why do they have a separate sale for Bit.Trip Beat, at $5 when they already had the game in a bundle for $5?

Same for World of Goo at $2.50, while that is half the price of the Clever pack, the clever pack also had VVVVVV which is AMAZING.
and now; back to me.

I bought two of the indy pacts (though some of them had games I already own) and picked up a game called "The Ball" which looked pretty cool from the trailer. It was only 10 bucks so hopefully it's good.

Today they have the Orange Box for 7,50 euros. Now I have no excuse except being at work not to buy it!

Others:
World of goo (€2,25)
Street figher IV (€10,20)
Patrician IV Steam Special edition (€12,50)
Mount and blade complete (€7,50)
Bit.Trip Beat (€3,99)
The Ball (€8,99)
Indie puzzle pack (€4,49)
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction (€20,09)

Now lets hope I get home in time to buy the orange box. Ive been putting that off for so long due to cost, not buying for only 7,50 would just be stupid.
