Well, she is the Nefarious Mew.
Or, was. Apparently now she's Coffee & Cigarettes.

It means I've finally got Braid, after thinking about it for months.
And it's awesome
Can't wait to play the rest of the games now...
This. At least I have five days notice, this time. (it was my own fault, last year)
EDIT:
Crap; trust me to break the damn thing:
Where the *BLEEP* did I lose the other two cents?!? (and btw, it took a LOT of fiddling to get those sliders the way I wanted)
To quote someone I admire:
Wraith anguishly wrote:WHY DOES THIS KEEP GETTING HARDER???
Because I realized too late that I don't have Google Checkout account and don't want one so I had to hit "Back" only to discover it wipes the form information, and after MORE finagling I got:
Now only missing ONE penny, but still...

Re: Humble indie Bundle 2
Yeah, I ended up with a cent missing, not sure where it went. It would've made more sense to be able to enter the amounts manually.
Re: Humble indie Bundle 2
I almost forgot about this. Thanks for the reminder.
I did this with the last Humble Bundle and found that I only game I enjoyed World of Goo and that no more than anything I get free on Kongregate (until Gamestop starts charging for it, anyway). Some of the games in Humble Bundle 2 seem more to my liking.
The way I figure, I wouldn't have invested in any of them otherwise, so even a small amount is still money in their pockets they wouldn't have had otherwise.

How could you not enjoy Aquaria? I love that game. Gish took some getting used to, Lugaru was buggy and really needed a hud, and I never played the other 2, but I defy you to say Aquaria is bad.
I demand statisfaction!!
Also, the cent missing thing, don't all internet transaction places have a fee?

It could be as simple as bad code in the sliders, but it could also be that.
Often outnumbered, never outpunned.

Awwwww, me too!
That's it, I'm making a note to go LOOKING for Humble Bundle this time next year; here's hoping I can give more than I did this year (it WAS above the average, but not by much...)

Actually the first one came out in May. So it's not a yearly thing.

Best $20 I ever spent. Easily.
Re: Humble indie Bundle 2
so THAT'S why those games popped up in my steam list, i was very confused.
Re: Humble indie Bundle 2
Another Humble Bundle has gone up. Though not quite a 'full' humble bundle, it is interesting none-the-less.
This bundle consists solely of games from Frozenbyte, featuring Trine, Shadowgrounds and Shadowgrounds Survivor.
In addition you receive a preorder for their latest game "Splot" and a prototype of a discontinued game "Jack Claw"
Also included are linux/mac support and steam/desura keys for the three main components.
It is still pay what you want, I'd suggest picking it up for a copy of Trine, it is amazing

I'da thunk a new bundle would deserve a new thread really, to help draw attention to the charitynessness. But yeah, totally bought.

I just sort of figured since it is really only 3 games that it might not be enough to warrant its own thread.
Also I have a terrible aversion to thread making.

And of course. Notch is the highest purchaser with 2,000 dollar

I think Notch should add Minecraft to the next one.

@Keab: Maybe if it's after November. I mean, sure he COULD release the beta, but might as well just wait.
And I woulda bought this Bundle if I didn't already own Trine. I'm 0 for 3 on the Humble Bundles, but hey, whatever.

I wouldn't discredit it over beta status, both Revenge of the Titans and Cortex Command were in development during HiB2, and for that matter Cortex Command is STILL in development.
However, I doubt Minecraft will be in any upcoming humble bundles, for the following reasons
First is that of the first string of Humble games, the studios that made them had already put out another game, or were accepting preorders for a new game. The few games that didn't have a follow up belonged to teams that had disbanded and had other jobs now.
Basically these games were not paying the bills. They could afford to put them up in a charity bundle.
With the second bundle you had a couple of more obscure games that had yet seen a full release. The humble bundle was an opportunity to build interest and get some word-of-mouth marketing going for games that, while interesting, had failed to really catch any attention. They entered the bundle because they couldn't afford NOT to enter. If something was not done the games could have potentially just flopped, or worse; not even make it to a final release.
Minecraft though is in a very different spot, as is Mojang, and it really doesn't fit into the Humble format. Mojang should probably be hesitant to put such a high discount on Minecraft considering it is the only thing keeping their company afloat.
Even after Scrolls is released and Mojang has another source of income, I don't see it happening. Minecraft is a huge hit, so much that it has even penetrated large parts of the mainstream and casual gaming communities. It just doesn't fit in with the rest of the humble games, games that people might not have played simply due to not being aware the exist.
If Mojang does ever take part in a Humble Bundle, I foresee scrolls being a much likelier candidate
and now; back to me.
