Official Christmas Baking/Cooking/Craft/Secret Santa Thread!
Re: Official Christmas Baking/Cooking/Craft/Secret Santa Thread!
Aw, so cute Siobhan!
I got a very sweet card in the mail the other day from my Secret Santa. But my very favourite part was the envelope, which had an adorable pig drawn in one corner (with an adorable pig bum and twirly tail in the same corner on the back of the envelope). I think I'll cut it out and put it on a bookmark - it's very cute. I'll try to post some photos later.

Re: Official Christmas Baking/Cooking/Craft/Secret Santa Thread!
I got an awesome and very specific letter delivered to me before christmas to Lewis McHall. That was very cute. A couple of days ago I received a hat that I have yet to stop wearing outside of work. Its kinda itchy sometimes but it is literally my favourite beanie ever. Its coloured white, black and grey which I love.
I promise, I super promise that my secret santa will get like £50 worth of stuff that he can choose from any online thing. Money has kinda been tight lately.
Fuck it. I got Vanguard. DUDE! Send us a personal message with stuff you havent got from the LRR store or Amazon that you want or any other website that amounts up to 50 english pounds.
YOU WILL RECEIVE IT + an apology note.

I still haven't sent mine, and I'm *really* sorry about that. I've been frantically working on it, and it's finally almost done.

If we are, I'm just going to outright "take credit" for the package metcarfre got. You're right, by the way. That Gerber tool is "well loved". It use to belong to my dad and it served him well over the years. Hopefully it'll do the same for you.

Mach, we'll talk later through PMs and such, but consider your apology accepted in advance ^^

Did you see that Godzilla 2000 was the last DVD I did for the 100 word topic?
For this one, I'm probably gonna stick with Netflix ones, though nothing's impossible. I want to do mostly suggestions.

I still haven't got mine yet, so can we hold off revealing who got who?

Apparently not.
I think it's pretty much too late since I think almost everyone who got or gave something has come forward now.
Next year I'm going to start this at the begining of Nov, with the draw being mid november so people have a month and a half to prepare.

I'll just avoid this thread until I get/open mine.

Sorry guys. I didn't mean to ruin it for people. I'll go stand in the corner now
Re: Official Christmas Baking/Cooking/Craft/Secret Santa Thread!
Well, I'll put it this way. There were two packages sent from Missouri. One was from a male (Vanguard) and one from a female (me.) If you can't determine your recipient from the return address, you don't need to know.

But yeas, I was the one to send falconknight his gift this year. And yes, I did handmake that fancy moustache on a string. I saw the idea on Dailybooth, though the person wearing it had it on a chain, so it was more of a necklace, but either way, it was pretty kickass, so I'll make more with the necklace chain idea if I can, or with the braided yarn.

Ohhhh, why thank you! You've gotten me into Lego again. With your gift & this video of an Antikythera Mechanism made of Lego, I find myself window shopping for Technic sets & related books in order to build things.2stepz wrote:Well, I'll put it this way. I think I am the only one participating from the Netherlands, so think it was pretty obvious I was the one who made Misty's christmas a little better

Vanguard, that tool is a quality piece of equipment. I'll take my sharpener to the blade and make it good as new. It's awesome, thank you.

Ok, I'm finally gonna announce that I'm worried. The recipient of my package (still anonymous, but it's not like the contents of my package wouldn't pretty much immediately demonstrate who sent it) hasn't yet made themselves known.
I'm just hoping that USPS hasn't eaten it. I've had a long history of sending shit to people without incident. Maybe it was bound to happen.

May have been me? I got some pictures but it was on my mother's camera before I got mine, and she uploads to the desktop... that beast is so slow, I rarely use it if I can, so I still haven't posted pictures and a writeup for mine.

Some lovely lovely chocolate and a power rangers movie in SO MANY LAYERS of wrapping paper. It was extremely amusing to open. Also a ribbon around one of the layers that I've been using to tie my hair up.

Nah, that doesn't sound like me. My father's allergic to chocolate. He might be allergic to the Power Rangers, but we've never had him tested.
