What we're playing now...

Postby Dr Frankenjam » 09 Jan 2007, 08:11

I'd just like to mention that I bought Blood Money 3 weeks ago after listening to the very first 'What we're playing now' on the LRRCast.

I then proceeded to hammer the crap out of it and complete every single level on every single difficulty with a Silent Assasin rating. Even better, with the majority of my kills being viewed as an accident. 8)

I'd also like to mention that the amount of WOW references and WOW playing in general has confirmed for me that I should never EVER let myself get sucked into that thing. I was gonna download the free trial thing but after hearing just how much time it drains from you guys I am seriously bloody glad I never did. I'd never sleep again.

Keep up the recomendations.
I'd return the favour if i didn't think you already play all the games that matter anyway.

NB. What is this 'Dough-Da'?
A Welsh Bakery Parenting Sim? :?

DotA (or Defense of the Ancients) is a Warcraft III mod. We talk a little about it in the upcoming 'cast.

Ah, I'm only as far as 'Job Hunt' so far.
I thought it best I watched the videos for the podcasts i'd listened to, so they'd make more sense.

Yeah... yeah it is.
Only, it's less lame when they play it.

For a start, they don't relegate their girlfriends to sitting on the floor in a dark room surrounded by empties.

Also, the guys trade off not being surrounded by hot euro-chicks in exchange for not being a total douche.
Which is a good trade I think.

They all look like male models, and it's very unsettling.

And I feel sorry for their girlfriends. O_o

What is everyone who is not an LRRCrew member playing now then?
I just beat Lost Planet on Normal. Yet there's still a bagillion secret achievements left :?
I'm guessing alot of them are for collecting the Mark coin thingys.

Also, I should of 100%ed Viva Pinata by the end of today.

That's me, so... you guys?

I am playing the Sims Unleashed because I have nothing else, though when I am at home (provided that my brother hasn't taken his gamecube back) I am playing Super Monkey Ball and Zelda: Wind Waker. So good!

Dear Graham:

We're sitting in here in Ventrilo,
playing some DotA
We push on and we're owning
With the opponents we're toying

We're sitting here in Ventrilo,
playing some DotA
Running around creeping,
the opponents we are sleeping!

Something tells me that all the CS players in the back ground are yelling shit at them. Its hard playing CS:S alone in a quite room, let alone in an auditorium, while some WoW playing male models are "singing".

I don't think anyone was really playing WoW. I saw WC3 and CS, but no-one playing the game thier singing about.

Final thing, i ran this through fire fox spell check, and Every word spelled wrong had Graham, graham and gram at the top. Including when it came to WoW

Ghah! I just can't bring myself to listen to that damn dota song! It makes me want to hurt people!

(trying to imitate that Gah sound that Graham makes in "The Bet" right before going mad.)
