Best Sandwich Ever

Postby Graham » 22 Jan 2007, 10:45

It's back!
It's really no one person's fault that it's been a couple weeks, but hopefully it won't be lost again.

Morgan, that sandwich is only bested by, yknow. Taking some of those double-stuff oreos, ripping off the tops, and making like.. A big ass oreo.

That, and you look terrible in that red blazer.
No longer your barrel-rolling monkey.

What's Morgan looking all fancy pants for?
Show off!

Also, I found that title vastly misleading...

Eh. It was okay. Usually I can't stop laughing during the Whatever thing, but this one didn't really make me laugh. Maybe it's because I'm not a dude, who knows.

I did really enjoy the haiku, though. We <3 you, James, don't worry!

James should be in all videos 'cos he has the most superior first name.
The one name to rule all names.

I found it very funny... because I have had the exact same experience with my dreams.

Except for the one With Lou Diamond Phillips and the Triceratopses(see the dream thread in General) that one I got all the way through,... go figure

I'm going to go out on a limb and say your first name is James.

I wrote a story once where the main character was named James. It wasn't very good.

I feel that must have something to do with the author, not the characters in question.

There's no other plausible explanation.

Well, obviously.

Although how cool would it be to be able to say "I know it was a horrible story, I just really shouldn't have named the main character James. That was my downfall. Stupid James!"

If everyone could control dreams, no one would ever do anything but sleep.

It's kinda like how inventing the Holodeck would be the worst idea ever.

Ever seen Waking Life? Apparently there's a whole culture around controlling dreams. . .

I keep meaning to see that. I saw A Scanner Darkly, which is animated by the same people, and it looked amazing.

People who can dream lucidly are weird. Richard D. James aka Aphex Twin claims to have composed several of his albums in his dreams.

It was alright. I didn't get 100% "into" it...maybe only 45% or so... Too many of the women in the movie reminded me of ex-girlfriends, which was really kind of a subconcious downer.

"Oh hey, now he's in a dark room sitting on pillows talking to...Heather? Man, what a psycho hose beast she was..."

I've never had lucid dreams where I could actually control anything, so really I just figured that the whole segment about lucid dreaming was just a bunch of tawdry bunk.

The soundtrack, however, is wicked rad, and I continue to enjoy it regularly to this day at least once a month.

Also: this Whatever Thing would be approximately 23% funnier if Morgan said "Sammich" instead of "Sandwich". Because that is always funny.

I have had lucid dreams, they're awesome.

It's tricky, you become aware that you are dreaming, but mentally keep the information to yourself. If your body realizes you're just dreaming, it'll wake up.

I've had dreams where I wasn't quite flying, but could sort of stick to walls and push off like there was no gravity. My dreams always seem to have rules in them, even if the rules are strange and make no sense.

Oh, and where's my special rank?

I had the weirdest dream. It was like me and my friend Mike (who began to look like Graham the farther along we went in the dream) , and this person I know I know from somewhere, but can't place him. We were on a mission and we were looking for...something...in a theme park with crappy rides...inside...and then we were in a scary dark version of Chuck E Cheese's and we (me and Mike/Graham) looked in a window somewhere and there were all these people and then we found that-guy-who-I-can't-remember and he was passed out and this bad guys came outta no where and Mike/Graham was like: 'Why are you doing the cleaner socks first? That makes no sense!' and I think I made a comment that was the equvilant of 'Yeah!' and the bad guy said, 'We always do the genteel socks first!'

And I woke up.

Also, the Whatever Thing was not as funny this week...

~Mouse
-Holy kleenex, Batman, it was right under our noses the whole time!
-Satan wears a bucket hat!
-If tin whistles are made of tin, what are fog horns made of?
-Lewis has AIDS
-Meddle ye not with dragons, for ye are crunchy and good with ketchup

Lucid dreams are odd.

What I find weirder are the dreams that are sort of rooted in reality - such as dreaming that there is music playing when it is actually my alarm going off - or dreaming that there is a loud beeping when it is actually that some tard has pulled the fire alarm. I usually figure out that one's a dream pretty quickly.
