LRRcast for Clean Cats
Re: LRRcast for Clean Cats
Hmm, now, I may be missing something here but, is there a standard audio podcast version lying around? I would love to watch the video podcast but I’m high on downloads this month and always low on this stupid cap plan.
I know you made an audio-cast available last time, and I know how I downloaded it then (unless wizards were involved?), so I think I should just assume you haven’t put the link up yet. Too late, I already typed this post.
Edit: Chalk up another point to the wizards, the link I was looking for has materialized!

Thoughts while viewing the vidcast:
Alex has derp titles. This bodes ill.
--
Hats, yay!
--
Jer ought to try monetising his ducks.
--
The Dutch! Again!
--
(Waves back at the crew)
--
I went to ground on the wedding day to avoid having to notice it; as a republican Brit I didn't really have the same freedom to just go along with it or at least not pay attention.
--
I like how James waited until the end of the recording before going for a PSU.

Re: LRRcast for Clean Cats
I was the one who suggested Ar Tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel and I found out about that game because coincidently the same week Atelier Rorona was done Game Informer ran a little article about the stupidest game titles ever and it was number 2 next to one of the .Hack games. I then looked into the game and found some special attack animations http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1L79AzmlQy8 (bonus damage against males)

Re: LRRcast for Clean Cats
Still midway through watching, but is it just me, or are they reading the same thread as last LRRcast? The XBLA question and "What else on the Escapist do you watch?" sound familiar for some reason...
[Edit:] Never mind. Heard my question. Laughed at Alex's "Did I just remove $300 from your deck?"
[Edit 2:] RETURN OF THE ELF HAT!

And suddenly the whole, "the podcast is delayed due to a codec issue" makes a lot more sense. Glad you got it sorted.
Still waiting for those Season 5 DVDs though.

With were the camera was positioned at the end of the table, it at one point felt like the LRR CD-ROM game video.
Also video is still a very welcome edition. If you do it for TGtwP, you can throw up spoiler warning if ever need be. Can't imagine often but still useful so people can skip over the video till the warning is gone.

If only having three PS3s could make the PlayStation Network be up and not loose your credit card numbers.

Huh cool a new series about MTG seems like it could be fun. I would love to duel someone with My commander deck. It is a Mono-white Life gain Protection deck with Jarreth as my Commander. It tells a lot of other decks to sit thine Five dollar ass down before I make some change.
Any ways back on topic I am not sure I like the Overlay. It is far more distracting than it should be. I appreciate that you want to give some people something to watch and be entertained by but man is that far more distracting than you need.
I did however like your risk and new step forward I hope that you will have success as you learn about the new for you pod-casting format.

Alex's overlays were the highlight of that podcast. "The extra f was for RAGE" indeed.

You just had to stop the questions right before you got to mine. I will take this as a personal slight against me and will hold a smoldering resentment against you for the rest of my life while I continue to watch all of your videos.

Re: LRRcast for Clean Cats
My cat is picky with her water as well. She will not drink anything you've put out for her in a bowel, but she will lick the condensation of the window, or drink from rain puddles.
Secondly, as a YouTube commenter said, when DB5 comes around, Alex is going to get paid to wear that Elf Hat A LOT.
Thirdly, I'm part of a Musical Theatre Group which for convenience everyone calls MTG, so I'm always getting briefly curfuddled.
Finally, yay, funny captions from Alex!

For the Royal Wedding stuff, I was already up at six in the morning because I could not sleep so I sat on the floor with a blanket over my head like I was seven watching a scary movie eating fruit loops.
I still think it was a meeting of the ministry of silly hats.

Great vidcast. The hat thing was awesome. Alex's overlays were hilarious. Also I'd love to see you guys do some MTG stuff. Since you're the reason I got into it in the FIRST place...
Oh yeah and the codec thing was pretty funny too. Just out of interest, what programme were you using to record the vidcast?
