I was gonna use a picture to explain that, but I couldn't find one in my folder.

@semysane
I was thinking more along the lines of "Its magic, I don't have to explain shit.", but those work as well.

Now of course we could assume that the fridges are electronically-managed, that the factory that produced the soda cans are automated and such, but we have little evidence to suggest this (and certainly a fridge is a device simple enough to run on analog logic, rather than full programmable systems). There are electric systems, yes, but we haven't seen anything electronic outside of Twilight's science equipment, which could well be a throwaway gag and not indicative of the Equestrian technology at large.
Meanwhile, everyone that is seen writing does so on paper, Spike is notable as the only sign of a mail system built on magic. There's also little in the way of industrialisation, we've yet to see a factory or manufacturing business or scrapyard, though this could be due to the largely rural region of Ponyville that we're normally exposed to, though even Cantalot is rather lacking in this regard.
Perhaps a cutie mark regarding the use of electronic systems would just be a nod to binary logic? A 1 and 0 partially forming the IEC 5009 symbol maybe?
O.O

Wow, that pony creator is surprisingly robust
For lack of a better image, I stole the Laughing Man emblem for my cutie mark

Am I the only one that thinks non pastel colors just look odd? I am sure it is just because I am so use to the color scheme of the show, but I don't know.

Yeah, I realized afterwords that I should have picked a more varied selection of images when I posted the link.

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
I am currently doing that daily "Challenge" thing over at EquestriaDaily minus the actually submitting. Maybe once I get the hang of drawing these, I will start asking people here for ideas. Really glad they started this idea, I never would have gotten back into practicing my drawing without this challenge feeding me the ideas.

What makes this perfect is the cutie mark and the smirk that the pony has.

Some brony should incorporate the Matt pony into one of the Training Ground things EqD is doing, if only to see if anyone notices.

Not sure if what I can do would be a good enough for someone to notice, but when a good challenge comes up for the opportunity I might try.

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
Updated Matt pony with lighter hair and correct eye colour:
Sorry about the eyes. I tried going though videos to see what colour your eyes were, but I couldn't quite make it out, so I guessed

I like it! And it's not redundant, unless you're using gay as a pejorative.
