no pants shirt

Postby therockdemon » 23 May 2011, 14:36

i am just wondering when they are going to be shipped (they are a birthday gift to myself and i can not wait) it says in the store Awaiting Fulfillment is there any idea how soon it will be
Last night I was in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.

When ever it is, you're looking at a month's shipping time to Blighty.

It depends on a number of factors. When the allotted order has been reached to go into printing. How long for all the shirts to be printed. When LRR send the shipping. How long Canada Post decide to twiddle their thumbs over sending your package. Rough guess 1-2 months, Icelandic Volcanic Ash Cloud permitting.

Yeah, delivery is really random to the UK. My CHustle DVD arrived in two weeks, my Seasons 2/3 in 2 months, and there've been people waiting a lot longer than that.

I can better that, Doctor Who bookmarks from Sa_Chan arrived in a week, TMNT Poster I bought/won during Desert Bus took just over 4 months...

So yeah, if it was bought as a birthday present for yourself (like my poster was meant to be an xmas present for myself) expect it to arrive around Christmas (because my poster arrived a few weeks before my birthday... in April...)!

The shirts are still being printed. As a heads up though, there is a potential Canada Post strike looming on the horizon, and if it happens, it is likely to severely impact shipping times.

I dislike predictable shipping, its much more fun to get home and find an unexpected package on the table.

So yeah, $150 of my stuff is out there somewhere...

My shirt arrived this week. 8) Once it's been washed I will upload a photo of myself wearing the shirt, appropriately pantsless.

You and me both. If it weren't for the other most recent outburst of ashy cloudy stupidity, I'd have been working in China for a year. Damn you unpronounceable-name.

Also, according to Canada post: my shirt and such was booked onto their system on the 25th and is not doing anything. Hmm. Maybe they've sent it on already.

My shirts & DVDs arrived this morning :) , obviously they managed to escape Canada before the strike caught them and were just slow coming through UK customs.

As nice as they all are though, I have to say the "sky blue" No Pants shirt is not at all the shade I was expecting to get, what with the bright cyan in the pre-order graphic, especially when the main reason I picked the blue version was to have a strong blue t-shirt.

Sorry about that. We tried to make the image match the final result.

Glad they arrived!

It's cool, the shear amount of painful laughter brought about by the various DVD bloopers and out-takes more than makes up for it - and after having worn the shirt for a day I've decided the paler blue probably looks better with the graphic than a bright cyan anyway =)

I actually got my no pants shirt in the mail just at the beginning of the strike, when they were doing the rotations. I've worn it a couple of times now. It fits me perfectly and I love it. And the extra stuff that came with it was a nice surprise.
