Nanaimo Road Trip 2

Postby Graham » 26 Jan 2007, 23:52

This went up later than we'd meant for it to because originally we had some copyrighted music in it and as a result was rejected by Revver for infringment. Which is fair.

The song was "Itch U Can't Scratch" by Junior Senior. It should play during the synchro fancy walking section. That scene looks way better with that music. Oh well! C'est la vie. Or something.

Enjoy!

James was a bit close to you during that thrust in the synchonized dance routine, Graham...

Paul licking that totem pole was kinda disturbing, also.

You can possibly put that version as an extra on a DVD?

Congratulations guys! That was awesome!

Also, I cannot believe that Bill did the Shopping Cart! Man, that brings back some memories...
"I swear it," said the other mother. "I swear it on my own mother's grave."

"Does she have a grave?" asked Coraline.

"Oh yes," said the other mother. "I put her in there myself. And when I found her trying to crawl out, I put her back."

But Nanaimo is host to "Dingle Bingle Hill", "Jingle Pot Road" and "Bergen-Op-Zoom" drive.

I must say, my city is freaking awesome.

Well the truth is we weren't really in Nanaimo all that long. Got there around 5:30, grabbed some subway over by the casino, headed to the film festival was there till 10:30 and then went to a after "party" for about 45 minutes and then headed back to Victoria. It was almost 1am when we got home and our day started at 11.

That was never what was being stated. Of course we made it on time. You could have been 6 hours late and we all still would have made. Would have been a fairly boring video but we would have made it. All that was said was you were late :P

Oh... my.

I have tears from laughing so hard. This was definitly entertaining! Bills grocery shop dance was hilarious. And The syncronized walking made me laugh so hard. Which probally isn't good seeing as how it's 3:30 am and people are sleeping.

You guys had very cooperative people join you in the videos!

Seeing you dance left me speechless at first. If that is a good thing or a bad thing, I'll never know.

Was the "Forward Momentum!" quip a Miles Vorkosigan reference?

Congrats on the award, it was well-deserved.

Also, the 49th Parallel stuff was hilarious. ;)

I like how you guys kept with the 'how to make a successful website' rules:
1. Don't sell anything
2. Dance like an idiot

Thanks for the laugh, I enjoyed that a lot!

Very nice. I can't believe you asked a few people before anyone mentioned anus rhyming with Chemainus!
Would've liked seeing more award accepting, unless there was and my slow connection cut off the last bit of the end.

I can see me on the video pan of the crowd. WAHOOOO.

I noticed you guys didn't use the part you filmed during the intermission. Was there too much noise was the crowd?

I absolutely thought that that was the way it was gonna go. With everyone they asked saying ''anus''.

The interpretive dance was pwn!
