Yeah, I'm staying out of the room as much as possible. XD

We don't make the schedule. It frequently impacts a concertFayili wrote:Please don't make it during a concert! I would be sad then. Also, I know you guys said chocolate chip, but do you mind if I get carried away and make more of other kinds? XDGraham wrote:We don't yet know when our panel and/or screening block is yet, but we'll let you all know as soon as we do.
We're as excited as ever for PAX!
We will eat any and all cookies presented. They need merely be cookies.

I don't care about concerts.
Not that that impacts anything, you know, but... whatever.

Shit, according to the LRR twitter, the LRR panel and screening is Friday. When I'm not there.
Not sure if I'm going now.

Re: PAX Prime
Damn! I'd take your reservations off your hands Metcarfre, but that's the first day for some of my fall classes. (skipping would get me booted)
I want a Pinkie launcher.

Re: PAX Prime
I'd take it off your hands, as my schedule has changed again so the dates fit, but getting flights now would be rather expensive.

Re: PAX Prime
Eh, that was hasty. LRR is probably my primary reason for going, but I realize a) I will have seen most anything you would screen as an avid fan (and having gone to all of the previous LRRversary screenings) b) the panel would probably tread ground I already know, since I listen to the podcast c) I don't know, I hear that PAX is, like, a cool thing, or whatever.
Hopefully we can all meet up on Saturday sometime. I'LL BRING THE JOSH GROBAN PARAPHERNALIA.
If there was a way I could give someone my Friday pass, I would (I bought a 3-day but won't get to Seattle until Saturday).

Re: PAX Prime
There's a lot at PAX even for the most casual and laid back of gamers. Most of the people I go to PAX with wouldn't even CALL themselves gamers, and we all have a blast.
And just because you can't make the LRR content, doesn't mean you can't hang with LRR. They're there to have fun just like the rest of us!
I for one look forward to challenging Alex to a re-match of YuGiOh

Re: PAX Prime
My wallet very much thanks you, met. Of course, I'll probably be asking for more whisky advice soon, so it may not make that much difference.

Re: PAX Prime
Should I really be supporting your nascent alcoholism...?
...
Yes. Branch out and buy some Jameson's Irish whiskey, or perhaps a bourbon, like Maker's Mark or Knob Creek. Irish is very smooth for the price, and bourbons are great for cocktails. In fact, I think I'll make a Manhattan... right... now.

Ah.

All I want to do is go, but college classes start and those take money. Important PAX trip money. But nevertheless I shall be going to PAX-E! Learning be damned!

Re: PAX Prime
I may or may not be attending a Josh Groban concert on Friday night in Portland. LONG STORY.
Graham and I will text back and forth to determine, once and for all, if Ben and Josh Groban are, in fact, the same person.

Let's just bring Josh Groban to PAX. I'm sure he and Joco could combine for a wildly entertaining and heartthrobbing show.

They have to be on stage at the same time for me to believe it, so I'm pretty sure one of them will be roto-scoped or something.
Re: PAX Prime
Anyone going to Seattle should visit one of their kilt shops. They have at least three, and that's awesome.
