Those of you going to PAX in a month or so may want to be on the lookout for my Buttoneering button:

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
So odd request but I don't know where to ask and google hasn't given me a definitive answer so I'm asking here. Does anyone know where to get a German dubbed, preferably with subtitles version of the first season of this show. My friend asked for a German speaking, rainbow farting, unicorn for her birthday and this is the closest thing I could think of.

Well, I go all the way to Hamleys in London, one of the biggest toy stores in the world; 2 ponies, a rubbish Sweetie Belle and one I've never heard of. =(

I agree, that voice is so cute. And it's so perfect for the character.

When I read it all I could think was: this has to be a joke article. Please let this be a joke article

Thankfully, Lauren Faust laid the smack down on that original article. I mean, can you really argue with the creator on what their intentions were?

Well, you can, but, when lacking evidence or sanity, it makes you a tool. Assuming you weren't a tool to begin with. Which the author clearly was.
Re: Any Bronies up in here?
The second any article uses the word 'heteronormative' I immediately write off its author as a pretentious idiot.
Re: Any Bronies up in here?
... because the word doesn't have a legitimate meaning and use?

...why? It's a pretty useful term when discussing gender roles and identity. Your instinct was correct, but I'd think the title would give you that impression before a silly word.

Dittoing the above two responses. Heteronormative is a pretty useful word when discussing gender.

Ignore me. I need to work on my reading comprehension.

Yaxley, reread the quote.
"The second ANY article..."
Most likely they were referring to the original article.
