Sigh, it would seem that I have plateaued, and lost any skill I had once acquired in the game- not that I had much to begin with.

Nothing like blatantly running up to snipers as scout and murderifying them.

I FOUND THE CAMERA BEARD!

There may be better sources for spies but they don't have... THIS BEARD!

Pretty sure the camera beard makes kobra fire proof, and his deadringer abilities now extend to when he is playing sniper and engineer.

post a broken image?

I'd say kill it with fire, personally.

edit: And it works now... odd.

I like your way better.

I'm seeing it fine.

Anyway, turns out in the experiment to make me immune to class limits, I no longer have my reserved slot and I can't vote kick. Oh, and I'm not actually immune to class limits. 2 spies on the team last night. Couldn't be the third. Still, it was funny watching people kill the other two spies and curse MY name.

I play when I'm home and want to play. The server is often empty when I'm on. I'd say that if you don't mind killing time waiting for people, put a call out on Twitter, Google+, and this thread letting people know you'd like to get some TF2 action going on the lrrcraft server.

I've manually reloaded the admin list, which should fix things for you, Darkobra. If not, I'll have to fly down to Texas and deal with things personally. Reservations as a whole are wonky right now, it's not just you. I may have to look at another way of setting them up.

So, for reference, when I bitch about lag, I'm totally not being a piece of shit and bitching about the server.

I'm being a piece of shit and bitching about my machine. I've started browsing some tweaking guides on how to up my fps to a reasonable level and some of them are actually working! I'm up around 15-20 now, rather than stuck around 5.

The most frustrating thing is that it comes and goes. Basically I need a new computer.

I am probably going to be alone on this, but I honestly think that the respawn timer is too fast. I honestly don't mind waiting in respawn, as it gives me a chance to watch what's going on in the field. Also, with replays on? I never get a chance, with the near-instant respawn, to say to myself, "That was a good run. I want to look over that again." or "That was terrible. What did me in?" and hit F6 to download that replay.

But that's just me. I honestly like vanilla servers (with the occasional custom map). And I understand the frustration of being stuck in respawn and watching helplessly as your team does nothing to stop the other guys from winning. But am I alone on this?

Not entirely. While I do like instant respawn (mostly because I die a lot), I can understand your frustration with it, so maybe make the timer like 3-5 seconds, just for those reasons.

The timer is set to 6 seconds right now, as that is the minimum possible without glitching in TF2. I can extend it to 8 seconds though.
