Re: Season Passé
I try to just watch these as comedy, buuuuut...
Yeah, I don't totally agree with your stance on the EASST (yeah, acronym'd). Unfortunately, they didn't present it right because they made it an external charge instead of subscription service, but I don't feel it's entirely if you are the kind of person that buys 3-4 of the EAS games each year. However, it is entirely pointless if you buy only one EAS game each year.

Re: Season Passé
So wait am I understanding this right?
You pay $25 for what are essentially five 3-day time locked demos? Would you not just spend a few bucks on the appropriate gaming magazine and get demos for the games from the cover disc, or better yet download them from the net for free?
I don't get it...

So from the into I guess they have done this in england through movie magic.
Its all very meta.
Re: Season Passé
$25 for demos you can't even keep. What. The. Hell?
Also, about time Sony pointed out that the WiiU is just a Nintendo style PS3\Vita combo (Albeit possibly cheaper than Sony's offering).

Kathleen's "when I move my hand, my hand moves!" delivery was and made me giggle. Also the line on that graph going straight into a toilet.
It really is the Wii U we thought Nintendo had announced, isn't it? Man... the Wii U's going to tank like a Sega CD strapped to a Sega Saturn.

Re: Season Passé
You guys realize that the total price for a PS3/Vita combo is at minimum 500 dollars?
While the WiiU (if they're smart) will cost $350 tops? That $500 price point will only go up if you want better versions of the PS3 or Vita.
So yeah I see no problem when the WiiU comes out. Unless of course it has no good games at launch.

Re: Season Passé
Also, you know, you'd need more than one Vita for it to actually be any more useful than the WiiU.
Except the portability part.

Well, cash grabs from Blizzard and EA... It's like they don't care about their customers or something...

Yes, HOW DARE THEY?!?!?
I don't really care about the Blizzard or EA things, because I don't play EA Sports games, and if/when I get Diablo 3 I can opt out of the auction malarkey.
My pet peeve is the UbiSoft DRM setup. Like other DRMs, it doesn't inconvenience pirates, only paying customers.
