Re: The thread of win
I set up a bots game on TF2 to get my practice on, and while the map loaded up I ducked upstairs to make a coffee. Foolish me was intercepted and forced to get some dishes done, ended up prepping my dinner and eating it, before coming back downstairs to see that I had received an Axtinguisher and a Wrangler.
I wanted the axe so I call it a win, but it's vaguely disappointing that my most productive ~2hrs of playtime was with me elsewhere.

You know, I've been trying to watch my posts so 5000 would go in here.
Mah bad.
You get 5002, I guess.

Re: The thread of win
Arranging a meetup with some of my old uni friends at very much the last minute and still getting nine people to turn up was win.
Finally getting a chance to catch up with Simon, who used to be one of my closest friends but whom I hadn't seen for two freaking years, was the best thing that's happened to me since, well... um, since the previous weekend, actually. But shhhhh...

Well; I finally finished off FO3- Broken Steel.
No, that's neither a glitch, a typo, nor a 'shop.
Four-hundred and sixty-five hours. Playin' on and off since Xmas. Eight months.
Yeah, I get my money's worth out of a game; gnaw the bones, suck on the gristle...
Soooo; what's this I hear about this New Vegas?

Re: The thread of win
Geoff's post in the Picture thread reminded me that I needed to post this:
My Lasers of Understanding t-shirt showed up this Tuesday (and I wore it that day, in case you were wondering). The button that came with it has since been given a place of honor on my camera bag alongside the plethora of other buttons already on it, all but one of which originated from LRR.
This might just be my imagination, but I swear with every button I add to that bag I actually grow in power, almost like I'm junctioning magic or some other such nonsense.

Moving into house with boyfriend is win. Also, having a PS3, Xbox360 and Wii between us is win.

Kaiserin has never seen QI. The QI series 1 DVD that is available on the US Amazon is region 2. The QI series 1 DVD on the UK Amazon is £3.80, with free p&p. I am sending her a box of awesome things. QI series 1 will now be in it.

Re: The thread of win
After almost a year of being uprooted and feeling misplaced, things are finally starting to come together.
I was appraoched by the head of a classic car/rockabilly group to do some pin up modelling at one of their upcoming shows. I haven't found ANYTHING like that down here so far so it was a relief to know it exists!
I just wrapped up the last of the editing for the calendar this year and am a few photos away from being caught up on all client work! HUZZAH!
