Great video, I agree that the description of 2G1C(in both the ending and stinger) overstayed its welcome too much. Also boom in top of shot during wide shot of Andy and Kathleen.

Also during my poetry class in college today our professor had a local poet come in, and this poet resembled a mid 40s Kathleen in her performance style and mannerisms.

Best

Video

Yet

I absolutely loved the interlacing of references/jokes, the timing on the cuts was great. And Andy (whom I admit I love most of his work) absolutely destroyed me. Great pacing.

Thanks for the reminder on the "Philosophy" game on Wikipedia. I remember that one now. ^_^

EikoandMog wrote:Nice nunchuk jousting reference there. I lost my shit at hotmail being confused with a gay porn site. Twice.
I believe the origin for that reference is wayyy back during Loading Ready Live when a couple of the guys had to stop at Graham's place to pick up a power strip & some other stuff for rehearsal. Someone had to steal the power strip from Graham's computer but before they did they changed his browser home page to hot male .com.

I'm pretty sure hotmale(dot)com is actually a thing outside of LRR. I know I've seen it used as a joke elsewhere.

Of all the jokes in this one, for some reason Kathleen pronouncing the brackets in the Wikipedia entry made me laugh the most. Weird.

Right. It's an actual website they used as a prank on Graham a few years ago.

That telling of two girls one cup will forever be seared into my memory, I laughed, but at the price of sanity. Damn you internet, DAMN YOU!

I think I can safely say, with the utmost certainty, that this quite possibly is the best Loading Ready Run video ever.

And apparently everyone seems to agree.

Definitely one of the best videos in recent memory, and mostly for Kathleen.

Yeah, I'll be a curmudgeon. Normally, I just stay silent if I don't like a video much, but since there's so much agreement on the awesome here, I think I can be a little curmudgeonly and admit it didn't work for me. The premise seemed a bit thin. And I'm a certified AndyFan! So Lisra, it's not just you.

I didn't like it either. As Jack said, the premise is too thin, and it goes on for FAR too long. As for the feces porn? No.

I highly enjoyed it, despite the call center flashbacks, but the award for "best video ever" would clearly go to the video update immediately after I started watching LRR.

I guess, on the "upside", we didn't make up the feces porn?
Is that better?

I'm just sad that it exists. Bleah.

No argument there, and I (unfortunately) knew that you hadn't made it up.

I don't say this about videos often enough: I loved this video. Amazing. Hilarious, and perfectly acted.

I will say this: Andy going goo-goo over the ... unfortunate pornography made me about lose it with laughter. Enough so that when he began to feel his soul die, I was actually sad. I wanted it to keep on going forever.

At first I thought Andy was doing an Indian accent.

I was surprised that I actually got most of the references too! Nice work.

Wow. This is my favourite video from all of Season 8 so far, and probably Season 8 overall.
Also, you named the private messenger after Deathmøle? And then followed it up with a hilarious reference to Epic Nunchuck Fail?

Ummm... Did something happen to the video since it was first posted or did I just somehow not notice it looking like a low bitrate real player video from 2004  (I'm referring to the supposedly HQ pub club video)
If anyone who saw it soon after posting could verify my sanity or lack thereof I'd appreciate it.

[edit]I thought maybe the escapist had edited it to remove the Russ Pitts bit from the credits, but that is still there.

I'm with the "loved it" group. I think this is probably the one I'll show to people to get them into LRR.
