Am I the only one being presented with eastern European tutorial videos? No?

No. I am too. The RSS feed has a link to the actual video which you can click on:

But the embedded video in the page itself wants to teach me how to use the Sony Tablet S.

You could also go directly through Blip. That's how I found the LRRcast last week.

I think the missing podcast was the one associated with this thread.

Let's just hope James finds this before he finds a Diablo III beta key and we don't see him again for the next year.James wrote:There is a LRRcast missing, but I can't get it to export properly. I'll work on it some more and get back to you guys.

Re: LRRcast for MORE SLEEP!
Heya guys (and girls)! Rick here. Just finished listening (well...watching...I guess...) the LRRCast and here, I guess more for Kathleen's viewing than anything, is the deck list for my take on the "Angry Kitties" deck. It's kind of a random mix but it seems to work most of the time. It is however three colour. Anyway, here it is:
Deck
- Planeswalkers -
- Ajani Goldmane x 1
- Ajani Vengeant x 1
- Creatures -
- Kemba, Kha Regent x 2
- Pride Guardian x 2
- Leonin Skyhunter x 2
- Kemba's Legion
- Nacatl Hunt-Pride x 2
- Ajani's Pridemate x 2
- Wild Nacatl x 2
- Qasali Ambusher x 2
- Nacatl Outlander x 2
- Qasali Pridemage x 4
- Artifacts / Equipment -
- Obelisk of Naya
- Behemoth Sledge x 2
- Sword of Vengence x 2
- Trusty Machete x 2
- Enchantments / Instants / Sorcerys -
- Marshal's Anthem x 2
- White Sun's Zenith x 2
- Asceticism x 2
- Nature's Spiral x 2
- Basic Land -
Forest: 5
Plains: 7
Mountain: 5
- Non-Basic Land -
- Terramorphic Expanse
- Graypelt Refuge
- Sunpetal Grove
- Kazandu Refuge
- Rootbound Crag
Side Board
- Naturalize x 2
- Lightning Bolt x 2
- Viridian Claw x 2
- Sigil of Distinction x 2
- Spirit Mantle x 2
- Journey to Nowhere x 2
- Steppe Lynx x 2
- Quest for Renewal x 2
And there you have it. As you can probably gather this is more of a casual standard deck since it includes a lot of cards from older blocks. What I forgot to mention in the question was that this was also, in part, inspired by one of the Crapshot videos - can't recall the name of it right now. That being said though I did use these screenies for the deck box (just as a running joke that only *one* other person in the group I play MTG would get) - hope you guys don't mind!

Oh! Almost forgot - thank you for giving the shout out to my friend James (Ogden - AKA Dibria). Though I think Graham *might* have pronounced Dibria wrong

Re: LRRcast for MORE SLEEP!
Re the stereo mic: neat, but kinda distracting with headphones on. The effect is just a bit too strong... I had to mix the channels together a little. I found that remixing each channel as being around 75% that channel and 25% the other channel meant there was still a strong "Tim to the left of me, Kathleen to the right, here I am, stuck in the middle with you" feeling, but without it being overpowering in the headphones. Looking forward to hearing this being used in videos, though...

Re: LRRcast for MORE SLEEP!
I'm about 3 or 4 minutes in, and am enjoying the stereo sound quite well with my headphones. It's different, but I like it.

Does anyone else have those, "They're talking about PAX [or other event I attended]! Are they gonna talk about me? Probably not, but... Nope," moments, or am I just incredibly self-centered?

Re: LRRcast for MORE SLEEP!
The stereo setup didn't bother me, but I didn't think it added anything to the experience. I did, however, look to my right the first time James said something.
I also find it amusing that I had an ad for sleep training on this video. Perhaps they'll train you to get MORE SLEEP!

Re: LRRcast for MORE SLEEP!
in the podcast for Unnatural Resources, to the question “weirdest place to sleep” Paul said that in high school he could sleep at a friends place behind a couch where he could be cosy and hidden
by chance I listened to that one today

You're not, it's valid.Fayili wrote:Does anyone else have those, "They're talking about PAX [or other event I attended]! Are they gonna talk about me? Probably not, but... Nope," moments, or am I just incredibly self-centered?
Sadly, there's always SO MUCH STUFF that happens to us on those weekends, it's too much to talk about

Re: LRRcast for MORE SLEEP!
LRR teaches me things! I always enjoy that.
Also, I've fallen asleep in a movie theatre twice: once when I went to see The Village, because I was bored, and once when I went to see The Social Network because I was more hungover than I have ever been in my life.

Re: LRRcast for MORE SLEEP!
Graham, I fell asleep during a guest lecture at uni, based on a series of monologues from Shakespeare, as performed by JAMES MOTHERFUCKING EARLE JONES. Dude has an amazing timbre to his voice and it was oddly soothing.
