When I do my videos of balancing things on my head....I'm watching Paul do it at the same time. It is like meditation with good posture.

Maybe it's my ADHD or general restlessness or something, but I find it really difficult to stay in one position for the 1:21 or whatever. Like, I can stay in the same position for hours, but when I'm doing it on purpose, I start thinking about it, and then it just gets into your head, man...

I've just been re-watching some Hustle, and noticed for the first time that Paul and Jer's conversation actually mentions solving the whole Geoff problem with a ball-kicking robot. Good show!

Also, since the conversation ends with Paul scheming about how to solve the problem of being kicked in the balls with ball-kicks, I trust that a future season of commodoreHUSTLE will feature a rival video site who in one episode engage LRR in the Battle of the Ball-Kicks?

Can two ball kicks from opposite directions impacting at the same moment cancel each other out?

I'm pretty sure that would more than double the amount of damage, possibly reducing the ailing balls into a pancake pattern.

In physics it's the total velocity of all parties (the hitter and the hittee) that determines the damage, so a car impacting a stationary car will do less damage than a head-on collision with both cars travelling at 70 mph.

However, if the balls were moving in the same direction and at the same velocity as the ball kick, then it would be neutralised because their comparative velocity would be zero.

So, I should squat or jump into any and all ballkicks?

It is the momentum - mass times speed - that determines damage.

I think that they would more squish the balls. It really depends on the angle.

Away from. Velocity includes direction. You have to be travelling at the same speed and in the same direction as the incoming kick to fully neutralise it.

Just tried to re-watch this now, and instead of LRR, I'm getting a video of some troll-looking guy called Jiggy Jaguar.

For those of you in the UK who saw this week's episode of "Rude Tube" on Channel 4, guess who was at number 7.

Congratulations, Graham: that's another television network you have been broadcast on.

I was so hoping that they'd do that. It'd be all like "Yeah, we totally faked it. Here's all our behind-the-scenes footage and a reconstruction of us making it" [clip from cHUSTLE].

And I probably should just congratulate Channel 4 on being so up to date with internet culture. I mean it's only, what, two years old? :D
