Cruise Vacation
HOLY SHIT GUYS! BEARS!
Re: Cruise Vacation
Cameron is so awesome in this. I love his facial expressions. Can we just get a video of him making faces?

Re: Cruise Vacation
You're getting a lot of use out of that Hawaiian shirt, huh?
This one was great. Nicely done.

Re: Cruise Vacation
Matt is very good at the cheesy spokesperson voice! And the "because you're such a cute couple" line was well delivered.

Re: Cruise Vacation
The build up was confusing, but the payoff was great.

Re: Cruise Vacation
I loved this one. Graham was excellent, looked really intimidating despite the getup, it was perfect. And the ending was just fantastic. Especially Matt's line at the end.

Re: Cruise Vacation
The buildup was interesting, the ending was hard to predict & Matt's last line before the credits cracked me up.

Re: Cruise Vacation
So unbelievably good. It's got that trademark Paul high concept weirdness, but it all comes together very naturally -- I'd have guessed a Kathleen script, actually! Made me laugh out loud on numerous occasions.

Re: Cruise Vacation
Great video, but there was an awful lot of not-looking-at-the-person-you're-talking-to going on. Cam looked at the camera once or twice, and both he and Matt looked like they were reading the script off the wall to Matt's right at one point.

Strangely, I liked it because I don't like cruises...
Matt does indeed do a top-notch spokesperson voice, but it was Missie's "Please let us go" which really sold it for me.

The icon on the homepage for this week's Loading Ready Run video instead links to this week's Unskippable video. I know pretty much everyone who visits this site can work out the difference and make their own way there, but I just thought you should know.

As a former cruise ship worker, it really can feel like a floating prison.
Re: Cruise Vacation
I love the building feeling of dread over the course of the video when you really think about what 50 cruises would BE like...

Re: Cruise Vacation
This video brought to mind that episode of the original Star Trek, "I, Mudd". Harry Mudd has a planet full of identical beautiful android women, all of whom will do everything he asks without question. He has comfort, security, and willing slave women.
And he's going mad from the sheer horrific boredom of it all. It's like torture. He calls the Enterprise to rescue him because he's losing his mind from the lack of companionship and the utter sameness of everything.
I imagine at least one member of the LRR crew has seen that episode.

Re: Cruise Vacation
That is... really, really unnerving.
I'm not sure I'm going to be able to answer the door next time a cheesy salesperson shows up. In fact, next time that happens, I'm going to make sure all my other doors are locked tight.

Re: Cruise Vacation
I don't know, my recent experiences with people showing up at my door haven't been exactly winning, either. A Jehovah's Witness stared at me through my front window while I was singing and dancing to a YouTube video, and I still haven't recovered.

Okay, I keep rewatching this, I think it's easily one of my favorites of yours. It just comes together so perfectly, hilarious all the way up to the absolutely fantastic twist at the end.

Re: Cruise Vacation
My favorite thing about this video is really Graham being stoic and serious in the Hawaiian Shirt. I just dig it.
Edit: Rewatched the video and thought of this.
