good gaming mouse?

Postby SPACExJUMPxJOSH » 24 Oct 2011, 12:54

looking for a good gaming mouse for £40 and under, the ones I find have really mixed reviews so I think asking users is always the best bet XD they always seem to have one really big flaw and I don;t want to shell out a fortune as I need to buy one for each of my computers. I use a palm or claw grip :P

thanking you :P

I use a 3500 dpi black adder from razer.

That's my one. It's pretty good, to be honest.

I've been using a Logitech G500 gaming mouse for a couple of years now, and its been amazing. With adjustable precision between 5 dpi values which you can set yourself with the software, weight tuning up to 27g (trust me, it makes a difference), supposedly 10 programmable buttons (I can only find 8, 2 of which are used for the on the fly dpi changing) and just a really nice feel make this one of the best mice I've ever used.
Only downside is the price tag, of just under £40, so at the top of your budget range, I'd say its well worth it as you get a really sturdy mouse that is a joy to use in an out of games and is from a good quality manufacturer.

The mouse wheel is counted as five buttons. That probably accounts for your missing 4 buttons.

(wheel press, wheel up, wheel down, wheel right, wheel left)

Oh yeah, the side to side flicks on the wheel, forgotten about those! Don't really use them, but I reckon they'd be useful if I could figure what I could use them for!

I use a Medion Erazer (yes XD) that I bought in Aldi two years ago. €17. Best mouse I've used, and my friends have shown me some pretty expensive ones. Goes 400, 800, 1200, 1600dpi, has weights if you're into that (just checked - I am), back/forward buttons, turbo right click...I hope it lasts for ever.
Often outnumbered, never outpunned.

Note: in Ireland 'ye' is used as the plural of 'you'. It rather neatly avoids confusion online.

I use a Microsoft wireless mouse, I like the extra weight from the batteries. I should really look into getting a proper gaming mouse with weights in.
