You know what, I'm in for this. I'm sure I can think of things that people will like.

People like Vegemite right? No? Okay, time to keep thinking.

If someone claims they don't like Vegemite, they just haven't eaten enough of it. It is your duty to correct that, Eiko.

People don't like Vegemite cause they have a habit of spreading it the same way they spread all other bread coverings, really thick. Bloody funny to watch thou.

I have never tried vegemite, but marmite on the other hand? I wish I liked it, but it simply tastes like something burnt to me. xD

Also, I'd be interested in taking part in this, but it's all up to if I have the money to or not.

Vegemite is just... salty. That's the best way I can describe it, honestly. I can't compare Vegemite and Marmite since I haven't tried the latter but meh, vegemite is cheap and I'm sure a tiny jar would be okay even for people that don't like it.

I actually have grown to like it quite thick. On toast, anyway, with also a fairly thick spread of margarine.

Of course, feeding a thick spread of Vegemite to an American tourist is very funny. Then, I also find it funny to see an Australian who claims to like Vegemite gouge a hole in their toast, trying not to put too much on.

Yeah well Aussies have grown up with it... built a tolerance. So we can have it at "fatale to Americans" dosages.
Actually, thanks to intolerances, I can't eat Vegemite any more. Which takes away one of my few Aussie stereotypes.
I'm thinking I'll buy some small things at Supanova and gift them. Seems like a good idea for this group.

I'd suggest that you find other Aussie-original items to send us. Like wallabies.

Do you mean a stuffed wallaby, or do you expect us to mail you one that we find on the side of the road?

I also find Vegemite and Marmite to taste like salt. Other than that it tastes nice, but waaaay too salty. I really don't like salt at all in my food (then every so often I crave soy sauce because I don't have enough sodium, and I eat Japanese food).
Anyway, not my thing at all. I generally don't like things that are salty, sweet or fat beyond natural doses (so fruit is generally okay for instance, but something sweeter won't usually be).
Just my luck, I'm back in the US where the only three tastes food has, the stereotype goes, are sweet, salty and fat (any combination of the above is of course possible as well).

I would give you guys fireworks. But I don't think you can send anything containing gunpowder through the post.
