Re: Any Bronies up in here?
The Wall Street Journal recently printed a decent, well-researched article about Bronies.

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
Okay, so for DB this year I want Matt to sing my remake of the MLP intro.
Here's what I've got so far:
Any suggestions?
Here's what I've got so far:
My Little Krozy, Ahh ahh ahh ahhh…
(My Little Krozy)
I used to wonder what LRRing could be
(My Little Krozy)
Until you all watched the Bus Cam with me
Big donations
Splat of bug
A beautiful crash
The drive is long
Alex Derping,
It's a 6-day feat
And children makes it all complete
My little Krozy
Do you know you're all my very best friends?
Any suggestions?
zA: How do I relax?
Evil Jim: Jerk off.
Frozengale: You know you're on the internet when Masturbation is the first suggestion.

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
Isn't it 'Don't you know...' instead of 'Do you know...'?
And perhaps change it to 'an endless feat' because you know, technically it could go forever.
Other than that I love love love it!

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
Well, it would take an infinite amount of donations to make it go forever. Just adding a day would mean just about doubling the total amount of donations if I remember correctly.
THE DUTCH!! THE DUTCH AGAIN!!!!!

It's actually "Do".

Not really endless. And not longer than 6 24-hr days (unless someone's got a million dollars they're hiding)
Other than that I love love love it!
Thanks!

Did this challenge get done? If so I missed it.
I just watched this week's episode. It was ok, but not one of the best. Felt a little more forced than others.
Also, I'm sure this is old news, but I think most anime fans will find this to be pretty awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elCj-Y97 ... r_embedded

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
Unpopular opinions ahead!
I still love this show, but based on Equestria Daily comments, Desert Bus chat behavior, and face to face interactions with people, I think Bronies have become one of the most obnoxious fanbases I've ever seen. The images, photoshops, and videos are still fun, but it seems like the people who have surrounded it all have tripled their douchebaggery. I even get harassing messages from people because I had the gall to say Bronies were over the age of 18 in my dateline-esque documentary video on youtube. I get more crap from fans than non-fans... still trying to piece that together. Sometimes clearing my inbox is a chore.
Not only that, but the last person I directed to Equestria Daily discovered clopfics within half an hour, so I had to do damage control for an hour just to convince her to watch an episode. I don't know if it's just because the fanbase has grown so fast, but they changed for the worse over the summer... it's hardly recognizable in my opinion.
The second season seems to be on a good track though. Well... except for episodes 3 and 4, those were just... ugh.

Ah. I thought that might be it, but I didn't want to go check.
Really, though? Clopfic? That's the best they could come up with?

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
At some point people decided that "clopping" was a humorous euphemism for pleasuring oneself. It was just derived from that.
I think my disillusionment started when a poll taken during the summer asking what involvement people had in the community. Look at the percentage who admitted to clopping:
EDIT: And the quotes... I think this one was supposed to be reassuring:
"It shouldn't surprise you that some bronies clop exclusively to non-pony material.
I held out until Spitfire."
There's even a vintage poll up now where the clopping percentage is currently at 23% with nearly 6000 votes.
So... yeah...

I came to the same conclusion, though only from reading the Desert Bus chat. It only takes a few people spamming "Who is your favorite pony?" during every call-in to make the chat unreadable. I doubt they could be more off-putting if they tried.

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
The answer: yes.
Was Angel one of the bunnies who grew freakishly long legs in the season 2 premere? The hordes of tall bunnies were seriously my favourite part of all that.

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
Okay, I'll be honest I haven't watched past the first episode that was linked to me way back in page 2 or 3. Mostly because I'm a 21 year old guy who lives in a house with his lil sis (who thinks I'm a brony already) and a father who has questioned my sexuality already.
HOWEVER, I promise I will attempt to rewatch from the beginning what I can tomorrow night and post my thoughts.
Also, am I the only one who thinks of Anarchy Stocking everytime I see twilight sparkle?
