I haven't actually bought anything so far. I keep being tempted to, but most of the stuff I already own on one console or another.

Not a single game has appeared that I've been interested in so far. I briefly considered NWN2, but that's it.

I picked up Jurassic Park, since I wasn't sufficiently interested at full price, but at half price was a reasonable deal, but other than that its not been hugely promising thus far.

Briefly considered picking up Arkham City, but I suspect in the January sales, I'll probably be able to grab it for less than £20 in physical form and with money that isn't my own, so I'm waiting on that one.

I picked up games for a friend for his birthday (which is today). Since I had a budget for him it allowed me to get him more games.
I took things from his wishlist, and he had a bunch of cheap games (1.25 after sale) so I'm probably not going to list them, but yeah, took advantage of the sale.

So far Dungeons of Dredmor for about $1.50 I think (I can't recall the exact price)

Definitely worth it. :P

I'm hoping for something more than 33% off the Splinter Cell pack. $30 is still a bit much for me.

Picked up the Pendulo pack for £9.99 as I'd been eyeing some of their games for a while but that's it - doesn't seem to be all that much interesting stuff so far this year.

Could also be that a lot of the sale items are in every sale, Fallout 3? Bought it in a different steam sale, Jedi Knight series? Every year.

The only big differences each sale are the new games and I can't think of many new games this year that I'd play and haven't already bought.

I got Audiosurf for 2,49 Euro (because I had been thinking about buying it for some time, but found 9,99 a bit steep) and Portal 2 for 14,95 Euro (Because I loved Portal, and played some of it from a pirated version. I really wanted to buy it "for realz)

Frozen Synapse - Some guys at my uni made it so I felt I should show my support. It's on my ever growing "To Play" list.

I haven't bought anything yet, but I got The Witcher from today's contest which I've been considering getting for a while, so that's pretty nice :)

My brother, on the other hand, got a 10% off Sega coupon... not exactly useful, given the frequency of much larger sales.

Picked up Sonic Generations for £6 yesterday, along with Beat Hazard, which I've been wanting for a while.

This game turned out to be as good as everyone said it would be. But it plays like a console port: I keep losing the boss battles because winning requires tactics like "run in circles around the abomination while holding down Q and Left Shift, and tap the right button to attack." That's probably much easier to do on a console controller than on a keyboard+mouse setup.

My wish for 2012 is that all PC games will adopt a consistent control scheme: W to move forward, left button to make adversaries catch on fire, and right button to make them soar off the edge of the map.

Got Bastion + the soundtrack for little over £5. Also picked up Fallout 3 and Poker Night at the Inventory too on the cheap.

Very tempted to get the Assassin's collection, but I think I'd prefer it on consoles, so I'll probably leave it.

Did buy KOTOR though yesterday.

Solution: PS3/360 (I recommend 360) controller for PC.

I also picked up three of the 4 tomb raider games yesterday.

Everything but Underworld.

It is a bit frustrating that EDGE is on as a daily deal 10 days after being an achievement game, but I'm glad my paranoia forced me to wait.
and now; back to me.
