Christmas Swag

Postby theDreamer » 25 Dec 2011, 09:51

So guys, what awesome stuff you get?

Aubergine got me three shirts:
Deadpool
Marvel (focusing on Spider-Man)
Adventure Time

I also have a Terry's chokkit orange.

Today is a good day.
I can put my hands in my head, and I can laugh it in the face.

I got:

FOUR BAGS of Sherbet Lemons! (To add to the two I already had!)

Image

TWO large bars of Dairymilk chokkit!

A package of Ferrero Rocher chokkits

A Terry's chokkit orange

LoZ: Ocarina of Time (N64 win!)

A mug with my initial on it

"Hey, That's My Fish!" - Some strange board game from a strange dude. (Dreamer)

Dark hot chokkit

A nail care package

And $280 hard shweet cash.

So basically ... my relatives are trying to kill me via hyperglycemia.

Also Dreamer is here which is pretty damn shweet. Just some moar sugar to add to my inevitable diabetic episode, if thou catcheth mine drift.

Doesn't the Victory have fins along the sides? I think I've seen that mistake in one of the earlier Vehicles and Vessels books.

I got the Tintin Animated series on Blu-Ray, the Private Eye 50th Anniversary book and a Top Gear calendar. Then I shall increase my swag by hitting the shops tomorrow :D

The Victory-class I has thicker armour covering the side edges and a portion of the main body both above and below.
The Victory-class II replaces this thicker armour with two vanes sticking diagonally out into space, one above and one below on each side. And like the Imperator-II it was slightly longer than its predecessor.

Wow... that's the greatest TV show based calendar...in the world.

Also, congrats on getting that book. I'm sure proceeds will go towards paying Ian's next libel case.

Not a great deal to talk about this year. Space Marine (twice), Deus Ex HR (twice), Saints Row 3, some books, and some clothing.

That's the book I have.

Victory II

Star Was Wiki uses the Vic I image for the Vic II. Obviously no one there double checked the game Star Wars TIE Fighter.

Well it looks as though I might have to eat my words from the menswear thread, as I received a tweed wide-brimmed hat from my mom - everyone got a small collection of gifts acquired from the thrift store in addition to their 'real' gifts.

In addition to my tweed hat, I received;
- a great wool driving cap
- two sweaters (one thin merino v-neck, one chunky wool buttoned mock-neck)
- Nice flannel plaid shirt
- 'bespoke' wool scarf and toque (knit by grandmother-in-law)
- socks
- two FANTASTIC wool tartan ties that my wife found on Christmas Eve at the thrift store here in my hometown, same as the other one I have - some classy Scottish guy must have died recently
- stovetop espresso maker
- tiny roasting dish for dips
- cheese
- chokkit
- spices
- curry ketchup, straight from Germany (yum!)
- new 360 controller
- a few different small Lego sets

Overall, an amazing haul. The benefit of having *both* families together at once

Every year for the past 4 I have been asked, what I want for Christmas, and each year I say. "Make a donation to either Childs play charity or the Fisher house, I dont need anything myself"

This year in an effort to 'shut me up' and get a 'real' list 10 of my family members donated to one of the two and got me nothing else.

GREATEST CHRISTMAS EVER!
