Definitely Illegal Boy slew me.
At least, that was going to be my statement on this video, until I saw the stinger. James cracks me up.

Did this just come out?
Anyway, good video. I love all of Graham's hero mannerisms.

From now on, whenever someone says they're torrenting something, I'm going to imagine them wearing that costume while they do it.

Great video, Paul as a nemesis is great as always and Alex as a kind of crasy pers… and Alex is good in anything.

Re: Questionably Legal Man
The pacing seemed off, more like an X ways to Y than a regular sketch, but there were some really funny moments that balance it out. And the stinger was great.

Definitely an awesome combo between Graham and Alex

This was awesome. I would actually watch this if it was an entire series.

I was disappointed by the glaring plot hole, but then the stinger fixed it.

Re: Questionably Legal Man
I was disappointed because adding in things kinda made it not questionable, even to the characters.
FAR too in-depth response follows and it deconstructs the video, im sorry but I was taken out of the experience.
1. Stealing cable is a crime, wifi has never been officially ruled on, it has only been established that doing illegal things on someones wifi can get both the wifi owner and the criminal in trouble. If they had instead switched his computer to connect to the neighbors wifi it would have worked.
2. ok its IMPLIED but never stated that he robbed a grave so that one flys good job!
3. A vigilante assaulting a thief would be questionably legal, but then stealing the sign is not so it goes both ways on this one. Had they not commented on him keeping the sign but instead said something like "You kinda just mugged him"
4. If he would have gone fishing in the lake and then had Matts comment it would have been questionably legal, adding the sign makes it just illegal, it could have been left out. Also no fishing license is illegal and he know it based on his statement.
5. Pulling the fire alarm would fall under vigilante which could be questionable so WOOT on that. The question of "is that legal" and his response of "I DONT KNOW!" makes this one awesome and leaves it questionable.
The ending doesn't really help me since on one three and four, which are the ones that are definitely illegal he either states or infers that he knows and understands that what he is doing is illegal.
The stinger however is awesome also the return of police man James and mad scientist Paul is always a thrill. I love reoccurring characters.
On a side note, every time I typed illegal there, I typed illigal. The carrots popped up so I fixed it then carried on, then typed it wrong again and again.

Re: Questionably Legal Man
At the beginning of the video, I thought that the cable/wifi thing was part of the point. As in, "Stealing cable is illegal, but you steal wifi and clearly have no problem with that, so you can justify it!" or something. As it progressed I just found it more absurd that this "questionably" (no, definitely illegal) superhero was "helping" people.

Re: Questionably Legal Man
That was a lot of fun, particularly Graham's crazy leaps out of screen ("I don't care!")
I'd be curious to find out from King Kool just how the final product compares with the vision in his head. It must be interresting to write something like this and then have it realized by the crew.
Unfortunate about the wind noise during the scene outside the school. On the other hand it made Questionably Legal Man's cape flap dramatically.

Hosk, I think it's mostly that HE thinks it's questionable. Everyone else is pretty much sure where they stand.

tanatoes: I'll be doing a podcast supplement. In fact, I'll probably do it in a few minutes now that I feel better.
A thought: Is this the season closer, or is there one more video before that?

I don't even know anymore. Maybe?
We kind of don't know when those should be anymore. Also, they just confuse people who think we actually take breaks.

Re: Questionably Legal Man
The holiday ones tend to come up really early (going by the DVDs that is). The season finishers are about the second week of October, making the Halloween ones usually 3rd or 4th.
Not that I'd dare to dictate when your seasons should be of course

Re: Questionably Legal Man
I think I just assumed that New Years was the end of the season, but there's no real reason for that. I don't know. Yay for more Loading Ready Run, regardless of what season it is!
Re: Questionably Legal Man
It used to be October, but with The Escapist deal DVDs will start in January. I guess X2Y New Year was the closer.
So this is the opener? Neat.

Re: Questionably Legal Man
So I watched this with a friend, and then we went on to watch White Collar. It seemed to fit rather well. Especially since the episode we were watching was this one... definitely about as "questionably legal" as some of the things in this video...

Yes, this bugged me quite a lot. Thanks for clarifying!
Does it count as a superhero name if only you call yourself by it?
