Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
No problemo.
Normally, I'd be a bit more wary about subtitled gifs, but I'm slowly finding better ways to add text. Still a bit of pain, though, but I blame my processor.

Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
That is FANTASTIC, Vig.
It could only be better if there were a quick succession of shots (like in bad dramas or actions, the kind accompanied by "DUN! DUN DUN!"). But if there isn't enough footage to allow that, fair does.

There's a new version of that Loading Time up that's ACTUALLY HD, btw. There was a weird error.

Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
Actually, it's better for me if your stuff is LOWER quality, but that's mostly cuz my laptop isn't very powerful. I've had to resort to ripping your video, otherwise, if I just used the downloaded version, it would be an extreme pain trying to edit in ImageReady for some stupid reason.

Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
Thankfully the existence of an HD version does not preclude the existence of a lower-quality version. With Blip, it's just a matter of turning off the HD option in the player.

Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
I'm pretty sure that only affects the streaming quality, not the download quality (I download from LRR page).

Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
Made some new ones cuz I felt like it.
Also, I've started sizing the gifs at 150px height cuz I think it looks better. However, for use in signatures and stuff, I'm still gonna size them at 120px height (so make sure you tell me please).

Thanks in advance!

Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
Huh, I can't seem to download it. When i try saving image as it downloads it as a .jpeg. I'd really be interested in making GIFs on my own; what program do you use?

Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
I keep forgetting tinypic lists every image as a jpeg. Change the extension to gif and see what happens.
As for making gifs, I have ImageReady, which is defunct, but it came with my trial of Adobe Photoshop CS2. I might be able to upload the file but I'm not sure how that works. Also, it only recognizes .mov files, which is a pain.

Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
Thanks for all you help Vigafre, but I tried making my own(it goes slower and I kinda like it like that). I want to re-size it so I can use as an avatar here and when ever i try to re-size it it stops moving. If anyone can re-size it for me that'd be great.

Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
Yeah, but for some reason the LRR forums doesn't let you upload an avatar bigger than 6kb.

Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
You can also link to one that's offsite. You can upload .gifs in a few places; I know that Google+ does, and so does ImageShack. There will be others I'm personally not aware of.

Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
He can just use the link I sent him. I uploaded it using tinypic, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Re: The GIFer Has Awakened...
I thought about using that because it's actually what he said, but I just put what Geoff wrote. I'll change it if he wants me to, but (and I'm seriously not trying to sound lazy here) I'd have to redo the whole thing. Didn't think to save the PSD.

Cool. Cool cool cool.
Also, I made these a while ago, but I didn't want to bump the thread cuz I thought people were ignoring it.
