Re: PAX EAST(er)! WAARGARBLE EDITION
While I am unable to attend this year due to awesome traveling circumstances, I have just found out my dear cousin is attending. If one were to find a K. Baumgardener wandering around the place, do give him a hearty handshake and a slap on the back of the head. I guarantee you he has done something to deserve it.
He habitually wears an expression as if he had determined to drive his head through a brick wall, and was about to do it (Description of U.S. Grant)

Re: PAX EAST(er)! WAARGARBLE EDITION
This is my first con, much less first PAX East. Any advice, or suggestions for places/panels to go see, or just cool stuff in the vicinity of the convention center?

Re: PAX EAST(er)! WAARGARBLE EDITION
Having just had a great time tonight with a friend playing MTG (he killed me with a 9/9 and a 6/6 Wurm, just for overkill), I just wanted to say I can't wait to have my ass handed to me by any one of the crew members. Same goes for the other attendees.

I have a deck with 30 mountains 26 swamps and 4 Bump in the nights. If I get the right draw, You are screwed tak 197. Based on my estimates this deck will loose 99.9% of the time.

Re: PAX EAST(er)! WAARGARBLE EDITION
I've updated the first post with the panels the crew will be on (that I know about, I think that's all of them). I'm SUPER EXCITED for PAX Game 2012... Match Game is my absolute favorite gameshow. Now how do I go about getting a spot as one of the contestants... hm... I promise to give terrible answers just like the contestants on the real Match Game always did.
For those who are attending PAX for the first time: this thread has all the information you could ever want to know.
Also this thread will be updated as soon as we know when LRR meetup will be. It'll likely be on Saturday, as Graham said last year:
Last year Graham posted a time and a place for the meetup about a week before PAX, so cool your jets until then. I'm going to hazard a guess based on the fact that we got chewed out for being a fire hazard last year that we'll probably be meeting up in the food court area where there are lots of tables and people won't complain if we loiter.
Also also: I'm going to try to collect a list in the first post of all the forum members who are going to be attending. Let me know if I've missed anyone.

I'm really, truly sorry if that bones anyone but Saturday is the most attended day of the con, and the day of our panel/screening.

PAX is very shortly before the deadline for my senior design project. We'll see if I'm alive.

Re: PAX EAST(er)! WAARGARBLE EDITION
Thanks tak
Was wondering where this was one.
Anyway since I got here super late, I would like to say that I am going on Saturday.
And I am wondering exactly when the meet-up will be, like 1-2 or something like that, if it was already mentioned here, sorry, my eyes are working at their best right now.
YAY PAX EAST.

YAY PAX EAST.
No worries! I'll add you to the list.
The crew has not officially announced what time the meet up will be. It could be any time. Historically it has been in the early afternoonish. It will clearly not be during the panels that LRR is on. That's the most we know, though! :B
Re: PAX EAST(er)! WAARGARBLE EDITION

What is this list I keep hearing about?
Also, got my tax-return/spending money today. PAX feels so real I could touch it!

It's in the first post, I'm just keeping a tally of everyone who's said they're attending. That way we'll have some idea how many people from the forums will be attending! And... that is useful... because... something.
Anyway, you're on the list already! No purchase required. :B

This is my second con, and first one anywhere close to this scale (first was Anime North). I am prepared to be physically and emotionally overwhelmed.

Because I am just SO DISTRAUGHT that you're not rooming with us that I couldn't bare to see your name on there!
(In all seriousness, because you didn't post specifically saying you were going and I wasn't sure. But you're there now! <3 )
Re: PAX EAST(er)! WAARGARBLE EDITION
The schedule for our evening says 10:00PM - Midnight, but Khahil (the organizer) has it written down on his spreadsheet as 10:00PM - ???? so we can go as long as we want.
