Re: Happy Magical-Rabbit-That-Poops-Chocolate Day!
Okay, maybe we're not all on the same page with the term "bite-size"?
per the Wiktionary:
Okay: "eaten in one bite" - ONE, as in putting it ALL into your mouth, sealing your lips up¹, and chewing it up until you can swallow (at least SOME of it).
If we agree on this, my question is - how big is Merrymaker_Mortalis?!
And I'll admit it; even at 40, I'm a damn chocolate gourmand - I was allergic to it until my teens, and as such, I'm "still making up for lost time" I swear!
In all honesty, I think I'm addicted to the chemicals, nothing settles me down better than some chocolate. As such (and due to my considerable intake²) 'cheap chocolate' is something of a necessity for me; I'm just finishing off what must be my tenth or twelfth 400g solid chocolate 'bunny' since the stores started stocking them on the shelves...just after St.P's Day.
I WILL allow that I have SOME standards: "chocolatey" anything doesn't cut it - it's got to have cocoa in there somewhere. Even this "One Better Inc." confection has the following ingredients:
I have no problem with dark chocolate, but I simply find it's easier to find milk choc.
Also, Easter growing up meant one of those hard-to-find white chocolate bunnies, so there's a touch of nostalgia and no hard feelings there.
Footnote: 1. This step is necessary because eating with your mouth open? Dayum.
2. Lemme put it this way: ya know all them times I'm being a ranting, raving prick? Yeah, I got to the keyboard before Zyxst could feed me some chocolate. ;^)
per the Wiktionary:
Adjective
bite-sized (comparative more bite-sized, superlative most bite-sized)
1. Small enough to be eaten in one bite
2. (by extension) Broken down into small pieces that are individually easy to understand or manage

If it makes you feel better I had a friend who once ate the tinfoil wrapper of a hotdog he bought on a bet. We're still pretty sure that everything that's wrong with him were pre-existing issues before that.
... no promises...

I would have taken that picture with the whole egg in my mouth but then it wouldn't show too well what it was.

Just QFT.
I'd rather have high-quality chocolate once every couple of months, than cheap chocolate every day.

Point of Order:
I would not consider a Cadbury egg (North American size) to be bite-sized. While it is able to be eaten in one bite, mouth closed and everything, I wouldn't recommend it.

I mean, by that logic a slice of pizza is bite-sized. For myself, anyways.

Both seconded.
Just because I eat chocolate every day doesn't mean I shovel it down my throat - I'll typically nibble a pea-sized amount and let it melt on my tongue and savour the texture and taste. Once in a while I'll take a larger chunk and just grind it up between my teeth (usually when stressed out over something), but I conserve my most beloved resource.
Indeed, that's one of the reasons why I'm kinda 'meh' about creme eggs; they don't lend themselves to small bites - the shell is kinda thick (especially at the pointed end which one would assume would be a natural starting point) AND once you've 'opened it up' you've now got to juggle the risk of spilling the filling if you set it down. Oh, and I find even in the foil, the consistency of the chocolate will let it melt from the heat of my fingers, so rather than ruin the texture, I *do* have to set it down, which leads to the previous issue.

Re: Happy Magical-Rabbit-That-Poops-Chocolate Day!
I find the filling of a creme egg too sweet when eaten with the chocolate and disgusting by itself. I only ever eat one creme egg a year - when they've just started selling them again for the Easter season and I've forgotten just how much I don't like them.
I hope that you can find it in your hearts to forgive me. Don't think of me as a heretic, just consider me as someone who leaves more creme eggs in the world for you.

Are creme eggs still runny in Canada? That's how I remember them but they seem to have changed the recipe here; the filling they use now is so thick it holds its shape when you bite into it, and it's not nearly as good.

Dunno about the original ones as I stopped eating those a couple of years back in favour of the various 'spin-offs' (the Coffee Crisp one is really good ).
I will say that the "choco creme egg" has a fairly thick filling, similar to what you described:
The "choco creme egg" sold in Canada, 34g.
The same egg naked.
And THIS is why I've pretty much given up on creme eggs; you bite into it, and it falls apart in your hand.
But anyway, here you can see the relative viscosity of the filling.

I had one of the Coffee Crisp ones yesterday. Even though I'm not a huge fan of the normal chocolate bar form, it was really delicious as an egg.

All things taste better when egg-shaped.
Re: Happy Magical-Rabbit-That-Poops-Chocolate Day!
The creme eggs here are pretty damn thick on the inside too. LOVE them! I LOVE biting right down into the strongest point! Pure chocolate to get to the sugary - DAMN IT I'M CRAVING!
