Yeah, I find the best commanders are always the ones that have the most fun and splashy "big" abilities.

Which is why I'm loving the Powerpuff Girls in AVR (The 3 mythic legendary multicolored angels).

Main-deck four, regardless of expense or deck color. Splash red to use it.

Wooo I may have to look into this set. Maybe I'll get a decent commander, or, y'know, a commander.

Cavern of Souls + Vexing Devil... sounds fun.
Magic Decks -
Standard Deck: just some random fail cards.
Modern Deck: 5 colors, because less than 5 is for wimps.

It's not usually too hard to find a decent commander... anyone who's been playing for a while will have picked up a few legendary creatures here and there, next time you're playing against someone ask if they have any they'd be willing to trade. Or ask to look at rares when you next go to your LGS, some of them can be pretty cheap, or keep an eye out if you ever order singles online. For example, Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer would work alright for a R/W equipment deck and goes for about 12c US online. Hell, I have one and if someone told me they needed a commander I'd just give it to them (I don't really play white). Ezuri is about 70c and can lead an elf themed commander deck with brutal efficiency.

On the subject of commander, who else has a commander deck? Who is your commander?
I have a mono-black deck led by Geth, Lord of the Vault. I rarely summon him (he's a major shit magnet) but having hard res available in the form of his activated ability is nice. I've been more often switching him out for Sheoldred, Whispering One of late though because the people I usually play against in the format are using a mono black (so Sheoldred's swampwalk is nasty) and a white angel deck led by Linvala, which nerfs Geth's graverobbing ability.

Wanting to build a pure angel deck based around Akroma.

Also really want to find a deck to use with the original, non planeswalker Nicol Bolas. Just 'cause.

Avacyn Restored is really making me want to build a commander deck around Kaalia of the Vast. I don't know how you fix the mana in WBR, but that deck would be so much fun.

My main commander deck is Teysa and I love it. So many interactions and synergies. If you want my decklist I can post it (although posting 100 card decklists for EDH would be a huge wall of text...). My other deck runs Niv-Mizzet, although I am still shopping around for the cards to run him well. I am going for NON-COMBO Niv-Mizz, cause then everyone just hates you. I still need Wheel of Fortune, Mindmoil, Dream Halls, Time Spiral, and a few others.

Command Tower, Darksteel Ingot, guild signets, Rupture Spire, fetch lands, pain lands, conversion lands, and Coalition Relic to name a few mana fixing sources for ya. Hope that helps!

So basically all the cards that were actually in the Heavenly Inferno commander deck. I'm starting to regret disassembling that. Time to go searching through the stacks.

Fine then, I blame Avacyn AND you. So many mythic rares in that deck.

Oh, and I just realized it's in the right colors for Bump.

Good quality service, but some of their products are a bit overpriced, personally I buy from both madhouse and manaleak.com to get reasonably decent prices overall.
