Yes, I'm aware that the youth organization I volunteer for has a history of child abuse. Sad reality is that nearly every youth organization has some bad apples. But are you aware we have some the strictest screening policies for adults? and have for nearly 14 years, leading the nation in this type of screening? So the client I was working for cancelled the contract, was notified by my boss on my way home today. Feels kinda shitty, part because they didn't tell me there, but I actually enjoyed working there, now I'll probably be assigned to some shitty outsourcing company again, doing computer installations for old ladies at government institutions.

The thing that upsets me a lot about the Anders case is that the maximum he can get in Norway is 21 years. 21 years in prison for mass slaughter. That's less than 4 months in prison for every person he killed.

Funnily enough even he agrees. He said by the end of the trial he wants acquittal or the death penalty because the prison term is pathetic.

I wouldn't worry too much. If he is released after 21 years, asuming he isn't put into a mental institution for the rest of his life, then someone's bound to knock the fucker off this mortal coil. Hopefully they'll make it slow and painful.

Anders didn't kill so many people because of video games, or even because of his religion (A religion I have placed into the "bloody stupid" catagory). He killed them because he's a cunt. He's the type of cunt who thinks that other peopl's race and religion actually matter. He's the type of cunt who thinks at anyone who thinks or acts diffrent to him must be destroyed. His cuntishness infact, cannot be overstated.

It's people like him who make me dispair for the human race as a whole.

As much as I disagree with your choice of language I 100% agree with your meaning. Anyone who thinks this man is anything less than deranged, deluded, and/or completely insane should book themselves into a mental hospital.

What makes it worse, for me at least, is that he has the same name as a character from Dragon Age, so now anyone who plays it is going to be "Oh that's that guy." The situation is not helped by what the character in Dragon Age does. May be a minor point but it still rankles a bit.

Honestly? In 21 years, noone but the victims' closest will remember his name. Once he is sentenced that families and the media will keep it in the public eye for another year or so, expressing their anger at the leniency of his punishment and so on, the media might remind people with a "and after only 21 years, this psychopath will be freed next week" when the date comes close, but otherwise he'll be out of sight and out of mind. With his 'freedom or death' statement it's possible he'll kill himself though, or somebody inside might do it for him considering his actions.
