We were at a barbeque, celebrating Murka.

I was walking with my girls as they rode in a wagon behind my fathers tractor. The parade went around a park with a total circumference of 3/4 of a mile. It took 97 minutes and 6 bags of candy to get around. The Boyscout troop behind us went through 22 bags of candy.

Im pretty sure this parade is brought to us by the local dentist office.

Not exactly a barbecue and fireworks, but I spent July 4th at a gig. Specifically the Unsane Big Business double header mentioned in the music thread. A reflection while waiting for the bands; there can be nothing more American than a crafty assclown under a dark, dank, Brummie rail arch in the bucketing rain.
