Any Bronies up in here?
Re: Any Bronies up in here?
I want Limited Resources to do a set review! I'm not sure how to evaluate them all as cards, but I appreciate the matching of the art and flavor text on many of them.
Re: Any Bronies up in here?
Looks like a decent set, and definitely looks like it would be fun to play. Since I'm somewhat secluded from my regular magic crowd and my girlfriend, I'd be interested in seeing if they manage to get an online playable version out somehow, else I'll have to wait a couple of months before I can give it a playtest.

Is it just me, or is the set a little crowded with rares and mythics? Like if you opened a booster you'd just see the same commons?

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
Yes but you can see what they were trying to do, they were bound to receive fan rage if they didn't include certain characters and they also have to be legendary and mythic and...
The set has been balanced for playing with but no one said it was balanced for drafting, you could make a cube but it was not a set designed for booster packs. In the way the set will be played with card rarity should have little impact, who would honestly print appropriate common to mythic ratios if having this set printed to play with?

I'm somewhat tempted to make a cube out of this and spring it on some friends at a future convention...

Whaaa?? In America, Spitfire is a mare! Look closer at her picture...
<-- Clearly a mare.
Then again...
"Although Spitfire is officially female, she is given a male voice in the Polish and Brazilian Portuguese dubs of the show for reasons unknown." -mlp.wikia

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
Spitfire is most definitely a mare, I never suggested otherwise, she just likes to play dress up.

The ex-advisor to my brony club made a life size Vinyl Scratch plushie.
It's actually a funny story of how he became a brony. He was a communications professor (He's going for his PhD now) and he decided to study the Brony community and just got sucked in. He continued to spread the wonders of MLP: FiM to his students and actually founded our brony club.

Oh, it's not mine. He's actually selling it on ebay here.
I'm not crazy enough to spend that much money on it though.

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
I'm not saying this DID happen, but I am saying it *might* have happened:
I *might* have named my laptop 'Rainbow Dash', my external backup HDD 'Tank', and my iPhone Scootaloo.
MIGHT have.

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
A TOTALLY UNRELATED request:
I am currently looking for an image in orange/pink that evokes, but does not actually show Scootaloo, dimensions 640Wx960H @ 326 DPI.
