Can we get a vote count and how many we need to lynch? Maybe that'll help you decide.

I think, including the 'with majority vote' we're now at 7 for Geoff. Meaning that he has enough to be lynched. There's a vote for Master Gunner from me, and I think someone mentioned The Rocket and someone else. I can't remember off hand.

While visiting a deceased relative, one of the town members comes upon the chopped up body of kapol. Kapol is dead. As people begin to gather around the crime scene, someone realizes that 2 town members are missing. They decide to go to Master Gunners house. There they find the lifeless bodies of Master Gunner and Duckay lying next to eachother. Upon closer investigation, Duckay's death appears to be caused by a self inflicted knife wound.
Master Gunner is dead. Duckay is dead.

There are only 8 of you left. It takes 5 to lynch. Good luck

Well that's a mixed bag? I guess we have 1 mafia left and one seriously disturbed serial killer running around.

Gonna assume that the mafia got Master Gunner and Duckay and he were lovers?

Where does that leave us? No one supported Kapol's vote for Master Gunner. That leads me to believe it's someone who was "less involved" than others...

That puts JackSlack on the top of my list.

A self inflicted knife wound? Could that be the work of a serial killer with good cover up skills or just Duckay killing Master Gunner and then committing suicide?

And why would anyone kill Kapol? I can't see any motivations here

Hush, you are dead.

Hmmm, even though we "scored a win", I still feel we are almost back to square one in terms of knowing who to go after.

I'm not okay with this! I would not say we scored a win. Two innocents are dead and it is most likely made out to look like a murder suicide, but I know Duckay and she would NEVER. >:( And you people wonder why I won't let you in my home anymore.

To be clear. Master Gunner was in fact murdered, and Duckay killed herself after she found his body.

All I can say is whoever the serial killer or vigilante is he/she is GOOD! Two mafia kills in a row! Either this person knows something we don't or they are just plain lucky. Either way it works in our favour, so fine with me!

Too bad we lost two townies in the process though.

I have my eye on a couple people, but no hard evidence so I'm going to wait and see what happens this morning.

Well this is all a rather disturbing series of developments. Almost half the town is dead, and there's gotta be at least one more killer amongst us. I'm not one to run from trouble, but once this is all settled I might have to consider packing up my llamas and leaving this place!

I see that both House MD and ex-Lurker were killed by an unknown person. We know Master Gunner wasn't happy with their quietness, so perhaps he took matters into his own hands? But how did Duckay die? So many questions!

I suppose it's possible that MG was the SK/V as you suggest, but his claim of "called that one" would seem odd if that was the case.

As for Duckay, read aeric's posts for a likely solution.

You realise that at this rate the odds are not in your favour. Heck, at this point I'm even apprehensive about trusting the llamas!

It's possible that Geoff's role might have been beneficial to us, but I have no idea what that could be.

What's with all the doom and gloom? 3 of the likely 4 mafia are dead and we know who they were so we can deduce a few things and narrow things down. The real random factor right now is that serial killer.

Even if we look back we can see evidence that Master Gunner and Duckay were linked. Duckay followed up MGs vote on Kapol. That initially led me to think that they were mafia but it make sense now.

My instinct right now is to look into who followed Kapol in the No Lynch on Day 1 and again, that's JackSlack.

Town wins based on either dumb luck or by getting as much information as possible. As bad as it is to accidentally lynch a town's person, it is information and there's still a chance to hit a mafia member, which we did.

I've tried to stay 'in character', but I'm going to drop it for this one:

First, to Aeric90: I'm not mafia. Flatly denying it here. I'm a regular townsfolk. I know you've got no reason to believe it, but I'll go ahead and say it anyway.

Why have I not been involved? Mostly disinterest. I think the lack of intel early on was a mistake and that kind of had me drift out. And while it's true I backed the no-vote, I was one of the first to back the lynch vote on HouseMD (who was mafia).

No idea who the mafia are. But it's not me. I promise you that.

Did you just drop character to talk about how your character was not mafia... you could have done that in character ;)

For the most part I agree with you, I haven't been involved in many mafia games, but it doesn't feel like this one is unfolding in a proper fashion. I have no clue what is going on personally. I thought we would get more insight on people and events but so far all we have is player related events happening which don't lend very well to figuring stuff out.

So for my vote, I REALLY don't have a FOS or vote against anyone in particular because I feel like we are kinda stuck at square one and the only option is to lynch in the dark and hope we hit a mafia. Which isn't the best idea.

Actually, having had a little skim back I too am a bit suspicious of Jamfalcon. After Master Gunner led the charge against House on Day 1, Jamfalcon said MG was someone to watch out for.

Geoff then said " Or IS HE? Not looking at anyone in particular Mr James Falcone...", and since Geoff was unaffiliated I guess it's possible he knew something we didn't.

Not to jump on the band-wagon or anything, but that's at least something.

*Gulp*

I have a good counterpoint to your accusations: while I was briefly suspicious of Master Gunner, I was the second person to support his last minute idea of lynching House MD, a mafia member. Even if I were agreeing just to keep up appearances, I would have waited until I was sure it was going to be a majority.

Secondly, look at when we started talking about how hard it was to figure out what to do (Page 8). I was also early in posting in support of revealing alignments, which is obviously not beneficial to the mafia.

In fact, on that line of thinking, I decided to see who did and didn't support revealing.
Supporters (In order):
Aeric
Jamfalcon
Master Gunner (Dead now)
Dutch Guy
imafish (Didn't actually voice support initially)
SilPHo
iamfish (actual support)
Kapol (Doesn't support - was mafia)

Didn't comment:
Tapir
JackSlack
TheRocket

So my main suspicious would fall on one of the three that didn't comment, or imafish. JackSlack and iamfish both voted for lynching House MD, but not until towards the end of the vote, so that isn't necessarily an indication of innocence. Personally, I'm inclined towards suspicion of Rocket. She hasn't also didn't vote for House, and was the first supporter of lynching Geoff. Not going to vote quite yet, but I'm somewhat confident that I'm right.

I did't comment because the OP had already said he wasn't going to reveal anything but Town or Mafia, or maybe I don't understand what you mean.

I'm confident you are WRONG and if you lead a lynch on me I have a strong suspicion you will find yourself being lynched by the town soon after as all fingers will point towards YOU for lynching an innocent old towns woman.

I knew I should have moved when I had the chance, but I wanted more for my property! It's historic you know!
