Cross posting from The Escapist:
And...
I want a LLR merit badge... also a Toast merit badge and a Creepy Doll merit badge. How do I earn them?
Also Matt is adorable pretending to be 11.
And...
I just noticed something rather disturbing... Matt's character has a fire badge on his sash. They let that kid touch fire!?
Re: Scouts Dishonor
Yeah, I think someone fell asleep while reading about the Noodle Incident.
I liked it. But I'm wondering how long it took Tally to work on the costumes. Or is this the work of poor chinese scouts?

Re: Scouts Dishonor
Well, maybe Wilson earned that badge before all these 'incidents' started cropping up?
GREAT video! I was kinda undecided about the opening shot, but everyone pulled though and had me grinning for a surprising amount of time. Tally did a BEAUTIFUL job on those badges, it was great to see Ben again (and his condescension was spot on), James had a real 'Dennis the Menace meets Judd Nelson from Sixteen Candles thing going on, Paul was eye-rollingly bookish, Graham seemed to be channeling a lot of John Cleese, and what can I say about Matt's Wilson?
Thank you for another slightly funnier week, everyone!

Re: Scouts Dishonor
Well, I think we're going to be hearing about a new incident from Wilson called the 'peeler incident.'
As others said, good video. But it always seems weird to see adults filling kid roles for me. The height difference helped it work a lot better though.

Re: Scouts Dishonor
I liked this sketch a lot, but...
You ever reach for your keys, and the keys are right next to where you hang the leash and the dog goes, "YAY, WALKIES!" and you have to say, "No, no walkies, I'm just going out to get milk, no walkies!"
When you guys released a tweet looking for a certain set, I got all "YAY, WALKIES." And it wasn't walkies.

Re: Scouts Dishonor
I love all of the merit badges and had to go back and freeze-frame to try to see them all. Will there be any pictures?

Darn, I could have sworn from experience that this was a Paul script.
Since it's a Kathleen one, I'm sure she would have LOVED to tell the tale of all those "incidents".

Wow, I really enjoyed this one guys it reminds me of when I was a senior scout and had to teach kids and this was the stereotypes. Sigh. Anyways wher did Kathleen come up with the idea for the scouts hopefully not by having to deal with them as well.
Keep it up.
Keep it up.

Re: Scouts Dishonor
I can't help but feel that is the role that Matt was born to play.
Obviously you couldn't do anything to change it, but with the others it was like "Ok, I'll pretend they're 11 but it's clear they aren't"
Whereas it was a lot easier to be like "Yup...Wilson is 11"

Damn, those kids sure have a lot of merit badges, being 11 and all.
Kidding aside, this video reminds me of CCYD, except you know, children's dreams aren't so much being crushed, as say, the hopes and dreams for the children of tomorrow.

I have to say that, this really is how most of my cub scout meetings go. Except more screaming, and more threats to shiskebab them. Also, I counted at most 6 badges on the scouts, those are some piss poor scouts.
Do you guys mind. I'm trying to write an essay

Wait, what?
...
Oh, right, I was thinking of Graham's sash. Still, I dunno, I honestly think 5 or 6 merit badges in (I'm assuming) a year and a half or so is quite a bit. Especially for these 4 kids.
Re: Scouts Dishonor
Hah, love it. Matt and James were particularly entertaining, and the custom merit badges were awesome.

In my cub pack right now, we have 18 cubs. Note I'm a cub leader and 11 years old is about the time they move from cubs to scouts. 3 Cubs have 18+ badges, pretty much the most your going to get in your time at cubs, its about 2 1/2 years give or take half a year. There are 5 cubs, with around 10 badges, and two cubs with 6 or below, the rest are new chums who have yet to earn badges. Also, at least in Australia, we don't use sashes, we use out sleaves, those 3 cubs with 18+, need larger sleaves

This was a very good video. I agree with WBAGNR, Matt was definitely the most convincing 11 year old. I can't wait for this episode's loading time.

See, I was thinking more along the lines of Boy Scouts, not Cub Scouts, considering I started Boy Scouts the summer I turned 11. However, many Cub Scouts that crossed over were already 11, therefore, I assumed these 4 already crossed over.
That, and the fact that they were using sashes.

Ah I see. Also whats up with those fancy pants sashes, I thought that didn't acutally happen except in Guides? Is that a thing in American scouts?

I don't know about American scouts, but in Canadian scouts, when I was a kid, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts both had sashes. Although it looks like they've very recently gotten rid of them: http://news.nationalpost.com/2011/03/25 ... -uniforms/
I suspect someone on the LRR team may have been involved with the scouts at some point as a kid and remembered the sash.
