^I did it so I had something to complain about to the unhelpful player who said it was easy. Because I was sensible. I eased my way down in till I got stuck. I could have TPed away but then I'd have nothing to QQ about.

Any Mesmers here or Necros? Any advice for how you levelled?

Level 20 mesmer. I like the sword/pistol and the scepter/focus combinations. Staff is ok but definitely designed for group play.

Also staff may be the only thing that could give you an advantage in dynamic events. Because you're gonna get fucked fighting for tags for recognition.

It's not actually full. How the servers work is it shows you the current population actively playing and not all accounts ever on the server. So it might say full at 6pm but might say high at 6am.

Just double checked. Still says it's full. *shrug*

Must be one popular server or doing well in WvW. Which is why I hate the free transfers. Bandwagon jumpers leaping to the winning server when their ship has a minor leak.

I bangwagon to the server with friends because that's more important to me than winning wvwvw. You don't get much anyway from wvwvw.

I also find if my server is winning I cba taking part. If my server is losing I cba taking part.

There's nothing wrong with going to be with friends and going for one transfer. There's something wrong with transferring every 24 hours for the winning server.

Perhaps forbid players from migrating to the winning server? Or allow it, but put a month cooldown if you want to transfer to another winning server.

Statistically a player with legitamate reasons doing that low and probably the players they're following are the EZ weeners.

The guide I'm using for my Necro is working well.
It's Scepter for the single target damage and warhorn (yes they are useful) for survivability and escape assistance. The Utility skills you get are LOTS OF MINIONS. It's fun because you basically onslaught your victim with damage from every direction. And for AoE scenarios whip out your staff and spam circles to tag everything.

The Engi guide is annoying. It tells you to use Grenade Kit and Bomb Kit. In theory this is fine. Grenades do a significant amount of Single and AoE damage compared to other Engineer methods, but it's bloody teidious having loads of skill-shots. Kiting with grenades are a pain-in-the-arse. You have bombs for close-quaters damage but the radius is too small.
I think I'll stick with Lolthrower.

Warrior guide is hilarious. You basically fill your skillbar with as many signets as possible.

I'm currently testing to see if I can mod Guild Wars 2 with Elder Scrolls music. It's going to be fun to find out! Because Guild Wars 2 music is just Guild Wars 1 music copies with 12 new pieces.

Tested and DONE! Selections of Skyrim, Morrowind, Oblivion and Project Divinity now playing in Guild Wars 2!

Famous first words.

Welcome to LRR forums.

My Warrior is 80 and I don't enjoy him. So I am leveling my Guardian now. Yay. Having to do annoying Vista challenges all over again.

....Surely you'd have to had enjoyed him to a degree if he's level 80? o_O And yeah, this is what happens when we do a dungeon with just the three of us....

TRY THAT FUCKING SHIT AS A NORN! Fucking camera angles going APESHIT!

P.S: Going for 100% world map on Norn guardian. Unfortunately this means WvW and I need to explore all the battlegrounds. Fortunately it means I've discovered either I'm REALLY good as a guardian, mesmers aren't as strong as people made them out to be or I fought two bad mesmers and a terrible ranger and lived in a 3v1.

Only got one kill. Bastards kept trying to lure me to their keep.

Anyway, I got 60% world completion, figured "Well, I DO need money!" and decided to 100% everything. AND it's going to get me on the road to Twilight! Also that money got my mesmer 10 levels. Went from 25 to 35 getting from 1-400 jewelcrafting and going to make my guardian and elementalist exotic jewellery.

Modding GW2's music breathed so much more life into the game for me.
