Desert Bugs!

Postby AdmiralMemo » 08 Nov 2012, 14:38

OK, I've found a bug on the Desert Bus site, so I thought I'd create a bug-reporting thread, since I see no official bug-reporting method on the Desert Bus site.

Logging in takes you to https://desertbus.org/donor/home

The "Donation History" link on that page takes you to https://desertbus.org/donation-history which doesn't exist.

The donor drop-down menu points to https://desertbus.org/donor/donation-history/ which does work and I assume was the intended page that the other should link to.

Well, now that that bug is fixed, what are we going to do about those bug splats? Bad joke time! :)

I definitely thought this was going to be about the bug splats. Now I'm disappointed.

Sir, you truly underestimate this forum and it's capacity for extending the life of a thread long past it's relevance.

No, nothing quite so simple. It's not undeath, it's life and death. At the same time.

Gentlemen, we have discovered the quantum forum thread. Is it simultaneously all things and no things. GAZE UPON IT IF YOU DARE!

I think we've gotten off topic. I feel this thread requires more direction. I suggest that we make it focused on what we, the viewers, are going to do for/during Desert Bus. That is if we don't just keep it focused on any bugs we notice (which seems a bit unnessary given Ashton gave the link to send bugs to).

Do last year's Desert Bus donor logins work with this year's website?

Out of curiousity, about how much data does the stream use? Will there be options for low-def streaming instead of Danglervision? I ask because the Saturday after DB6 starts (or, more accurately for me, the day it starts) I'm going to a Gatecrash PTQ and I'd like to be able to watch the stream on my phone and maybe update anyone interested on how I'm doing between rounds.

You can always watch a lower quality stream :)
