Also, we get Cam, Alex, Morgan and Tally. But where's the Kate and Andy! Or Dale? Where's the Dale shift, done entirely in song?!

I challenge Fugiman to actually sleep for eight consecutive hours sometime during the run.

Nah, I know that would never happen.

On the other hand, everyone else seems to settle into a rythm after 4-5 hours, but before that, there's an actual risk.

And now we're gunna have almost nothing but those risky times.

Place your bets now people!

I bet $5 the net total will be one crash per shift (Though not neccisarily one crash per shift, maybe just one person who crashes alot and brings the number up.)

There are twice as many shift this year and most are long time drivers, I guess three total crashes including the ending left crash.

Well, if they don't crash the entire length of the run, and then end the stream before they crash off to the left (thus ending the run) then Hosk would either be out 200k or he'd be made a liar!

That being said, I'm wondering if we could get them to play the game with the TV off if they're a veteran driver. Added danger....for the children.

I make the same challenge to Kroze. Now, I know he probably doesn't remember it, but I'm counting where he wakes up types on his laptop something related to moderating the chat, and falls back asleep. No doing that. :D

He mentioned on Facebook that he's going to try to get to the island some time on the 19th. Fingers crossed!

I have two challenge shifts, as I understand it. One 4am-5am on Monday and another at the same time on Wednesday. Once it's all set in stone someone will post a master schedule, but I think that the idea is that for certain people we'll be telling you ahead of time when we'll be there so that you can get your challenges ready and submitted at the appropriate time.

I'll also show up at random other times, of course. The schedule is just for the guaranteed times I'll be there. I don't know who else has scheduled appearances (other than the drivers).

(If you have any particularly tough challenges, feel free to send me a private message with advance warning so I can learn whatever it is beforehand.)

If you read the fine print in his post he said Guyanese Dollars, which works out to a little less than $1000 US. It's still a really big donation.

I do have a question about the challenge system. Will challenges always be opened, or only for some periods of time? I ask because, given how many challenges there were in like 30 seconds last year, the pool will be loaded with challenges. Many of which I'm guessing will be duplicates anyways.

As Graham said in the video, you will be able to submit a challenge at any time. Therefore, I assume the system will always be open.

One of my all-time Desert Bus favorite moments was Tally and Dale's rendition of Barbie Girl. Practically everything about it was hilarious.

While the spontaneity of Matt's first rendition of Gay Bar may never be surpassed in pure entertainment, Barbie Girl will always have a place in my personal Desert Bus Hall of Fame.

I think a Dale medley, perhaps songs of his choosing, would be pretty fantastic. Everything from the likes of Barbie Girl to Modern Major General to something serious he personally wants to sing.

I had an idea for a re-write of Queen's "Who Wants To Live Forever" to "Who Wants To Bus Forever", but sadly my musical talent is quite far beyond pathetic. If anyone wants to take the idea and run with it, feel free.

Although it's entirely possible something like this has been done already. Eh, who cares.

My challenge to not crash the bus was REALLY REALLY not accepted this year! its only day 2 and they have crashed 5 times!

Paul (taken back by time travel)
Matt X3 (once on the left side of the road)
Damnit Liz 5 seconds after getting the controller, it wasnt her fault this one shouldnt count.
