Well, I don't know how to do a MotD or install plugins... I only got MineCraft a month ago, so I'm still a n00b at everything. Also, it wouldn't solve this issue, as the logs would only move forward, and it wouldn't log who placed the signs.

I think staying up most of the night trying to theorize who it is is making me even less sane...

I just want to friggin' talk to the person... Is that too much to ask?

Some people just want to [s]watch the world burn[/s] play pranks. Stop thinking about it. It happened, and placing a sign is hardly a big deal. Look to the future, and what you can do about such situations going forward. Whatever you do, never take your frustrations out on the players. I've seen many a Minecraft server fall that way.

Well, to stop thinking about it, I'll have to stop playing MineCraft for a while. Have fun on the server. I'll be back after Desert Bus, hopefully with more sanity.

I'm sure the LRRites will manage just fine, we've set up guard watches against griefers before.

It's up and down. Apparently, the server is as unstable as its admin.

OK... I've figured out the problem with the whitelist, as I've whitelisted all of you and many of you have had issues connecting. For some reason, even though you're "Mr_Ike" on MineCraft, and I whitelisted "Mr_Ike" you couldn't get in. However, whitelisting "mr_ike" works. I don't know what's going on there regarding the capitals, but that's how it is, apparently. The "figure it out as you go" model is still working after a month and a half of learning how to play and admin MineCraft. :D

You think enderman are creepy? I'm not usually bothered by them. I find the sneak-attack-from-the-back creeper to be much more paranoia inducing.

Also, did you build that lighthouse near me? (Close to jostain's area, on a taiga island, building a massive massive tower which is eventually going to be a lighthouse) With an underground railroad going off somewhere? Because that railroad comes quite close to my build site (not that it bothers me. Might just be something to keep in mind) Also, if so, those caves are HUGE. (And I mean HUGE!!!!!!) There is just no end to them.

The lighthouse between Mr_Ike and Jostain was made by Smeghead. I didn't know about a railroad. I've got to check up on your progress after a week of not doing anything due to Desert Bus.

I have a small tower near a wide-open mine area.

I don't recall anything being near me (due to snow biomes)

Disclaimer: I don't know how much work it would be, so disregard this if it's a stupid idea.

Can we get dynmap to work on this server? I found it really useful on LRRcraft, and it helps with property management too.

Walbunk has been added to the whitelist.

ex-Lurker: I guess we could if I knew how. I've only had MineCraft since the latest big update, so I have no clue how anything major really works. The server's vanilla because I don't know how to do anything but vanilla at this time.

If you want anything added to the server, you'll need to help me do it.
