Ohhhh, wait...I know what this is now.

Looking at it again, it looks nothing like Sacred.

Indeed they both look quite different. If you know what it is you should post. kinda the point of the game and all.

I've already had a guess, I'll give another guess if no-one gets it for a while.

No it's not Divine Divinity. I think a lot of people who have played it have played the demo for it. I know I did before buying the game.
Have another hint. It has a sequel which has pretty much the same name as it.

"Why you shouldn't piss off your neighbours 2: We has more troops then yous!" ?

Although a more serious answer would be "Warrior Kings"?

Not a bad try, not the one however, though the name is superficially similar ;)

Yep, Eschalon sounds very familiar - I likely still have it installed in some lost folder on this hard drive. ;)

As for the current one - Age of Empires II: Age of Kings?

Nope - though the fort does look vaguely like the fort from the original 7 kingdoms.

Im going to sleep now so... clue...

The main schtick of the setting is a light v dark war in which there are lots of immortal warriors who fight alongside mortal armies, they can be killed but can always be resurrected as long as their maguffin isnt destroyed. If one immortal manages to get the maguffin of another, they can magically lobotomise them before resurrecting them(This happened to the main character from this game)

Yeah, its nothing so grand.

Hmmm, it was developed by a company who is currently working on relatively high profile game adaptation of a series that begun in movies.

The game itself used game mechanics to remove micro-management of individual units to concentrate more on army composition and overall strategy
