Is it weird that I heard the music and was immediately like, "Man, I don't know what this is, but I hope Mystery Science Theater 3000 made fun of it!"?

Wait...*goes back and re-watches clip*

Huh. Didn't notice them before because it's close to the end of the clip...thought they were just cattle. :P

Hmmm, Africa...MST3K...70's film quality - that'd narrow down things considerably since Joel & Co. often dug into older films.

Poop, I never got to see much of ol' Mystery Science Theater 3000, so the only way I could go any further is by looking up a list of films that they used and checking each, and that wouldn't be very sporting (or terribly fun). But maybe I've helped someone whose memory for old TV shows is better than mine. :)

Careful Empath, you're leading people down the wrong path. :P One hint is that the film's riff is a newer one.

I'll post another clip sometime today if nobody gets it.

Oh! Well, I guess I should feel better about my memory - it's not remembering something that didn't happen. :)

Well, maybe that might twig people with the right answer...if so I HELPED! ;)

Mara gets it. Hence why I said that nobody would be getting it if they didn't get it from that clip. :P It's a pretty bad movie that also makes for one of the better Rifftrax I've seen. It's also public domain and you can see the entire movie on Youtube.

Turns out having a functional DVD drive in my PC would've been a good way to make this process a lot easier, but here goes:

I know what it is! But I don't have a good selection of movies to post from, so I shall stay silent and be disappointed in all the failed guesses...

...Star Trek? I dunno, the ships look familiar. But I don't know much of that kind of thing. Maybe... wait a tic... is that Serenity? It reminds me of the opening scene.

Honestly, I wasn't sure at first. I knew it looked familiar and I was about to actually guess District 9 since that's the only thing that came to mind. But then it just clicked. My last post actually perfectly mirrors my actual thoughts as I wrote it. XD That Maybe was going to be "Maybe Distric 9?" originally.

Going back and rewatching the opening makes me 99.999% sure it's correct. But I'll wait to be sure.

It was 99.999% because the opening I saw on u-tube was sepia for some reason.

Anyways, now I've got to find a movie... hmmm... How about this?

Is it even possible to stick Steven Seagal in a movie and no one would notice?

The Onion Movie

That's the final where Steven Segal - The Cockpuncher, the Peruvians who always save the day, and Melissa Cheery defeat the inept Islamic Terrorists by giving them boners, zapping their belt buckles with eye lasers, and punching them in the cock.

I may have left something out about commercially available military grade landmines marketed for gardening and household pest removal but you get the picture..
