The crew has a little chat about wizards, and answers your questions.

Great podcast guys! Was interesting to hear that Kathleen had been fired over a tweet. I never knew about that until this podcast but it really does sound like it was a blessing in the end.

I also have a slight speech impediment but I don't believe mine is nearly as bad as Graham's sounds the few times it's come out, always impressed that you don't let it stop you from performing or speaking at conventions cause I'm terrified of that stuff.

Quick question, will any of the events from Tsukino Con be recorded and put online? If not thats fine was just wondering.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Pacific Rim looks like Evangelion. I actually thought it WAS a live-action Evangelion movie before I saw the titles.

Am I the only one to be watching the podcast out of the corner of my eye, look up and see this and momentarily think that Paul grew back his beard?

Argh! I keep missing the question time! I was planning on doing it last week, but alas you guys were busy having lives and fun and such :P I assumed this week was going to be a TGWP, so I didn't check the forums until 10 minutes after it was locked. Oh well. . .

Well that settles it. I'm definately going to make the time to go to the Calgary Expo. Seems like it might be a slightly better time to meet the cast than at PAX where they're (presumably) far more busy.

My best chance to meet anyone from LRR will be the Escapist Expo if by some miracle I have money. Might drive from Florida if I can find someone to go with to split the cost on gas.

You guys, Graham found my LRR gifs during a LRRcast. The level to which I geeked was probably not appropriate. :D

Dear LRR, thank you for answering my question,

I guess I phrased it wrong. Prior to now I worked in the corporate world, I was the general manager of a automotive parts warehouse with just over 50 people below me, I was also assistant manager/ auditor of a large hotel, so I am very familiar with the "dicking around" concept its not the day to day focus I lack its the bouts of just not being around that would get me fired.

I have periods of time where I am unable to focus on anything, I will sometimes space out for minutes, sometimes hours, and on rare occasions my depression has kept me in bed for days not even being able to muster the motivation to get a bowl of cereal. It is rather difficult to build a career when from time to time you just cant do anything. This happened on one of my group projects in school and it was only through the enormous generosity of my classmates that I did not fail that class.

Funny you should mention Poli-sci because I am currently thinking along that line too. I was thinking maybe Business Management/Political Science/ Anthropology or History because of just the thing you are describing, exposure.

The only issue with Political science is something that happened this term in "Modern thought" ok class lets read the collected works of Locke and Hobbes and Kant. This week for light reading we will only 150 pages of Rousseau. Because I get lost it can take me 5 or 6 hours to read 30-40 pages. For a real treat we end the semester with marx and being a political science major I am sure you got to read marx and will understand when I say "reading Marx is like reading Marx"

It is really depressing to me that it is unlikely that I will be able to pursue a long term career out of the home, but yeah! instill a strong sense that a broad education is great and that all learning is good learning in my children!

About Gap Filler's question on Gibb's PS3 he got at launch:

As I recall from the time, the crew just lucked out been in a store when somebody cancelled their preorder, and were asked if they wanted the PS3. They said yes, took it home, then realized that $900 was a shit-ton of money, so they returned it a couple days later.

I have almost a very similar speech thing as G* (except far less severe). It often renders me unable start sentences, so I'll sit there with a word on the tip of my tongue for ages! Fortunately I tend to find that the best way around is just to restructure my sentence so I start with a word that I can say, or build up with an 'errr' or something. Very annoying

I have precisely that problem, and solution.

I can't stand when it's like, "I know this, I just can't say it!"

Persona 4 the Golden was my first Persona game, I feel slightly cheated because I figured out who the killer was at the beginning of the game due to a change that they made, but I still love it. Is the anime worth watching?

Before watching the podcast, there's one thing I remember from the commentary. I believe that one of the people who they'd filmed he had reserved a PS3 at a Gamestop or similar store and mentioned he'd planned to sell them. The manager was a fan of the site and noticed that and canceled the pre-order since they'd been canceling anyones' preorders who said they were going to sell them, and one of them was able to pick the now free system up. Not sure what happened after.

Yes it is worth it, all but the true ending specials is on Hulu. I had to hunt for the true ending but that may of changed. It really does stick to the story. There is no Marie or anything that was a P4G new feature, but it still gives you extras and awesome things while still being true to the orginal story. I loved it. I was really paranoid too seeing as I couldn't get pas ep 3 or 4 of Persona triniy souls.... or whatever it is called.
