Jam: It's still in my gift box. I can decline it, or just pass it to you, if you really, really want it.
Edit: I added it to my gift library just to get rid of the notification.

No, it's fine. If you're going to play it don't worry about me.

Thanks man. Been a Civ player since the good old days playing on my dad's Mac SE/30.Jamfalcon wrote:No, it's fine. If you're going to play it don't worry about me.

I have an extra steam copy of Detour and of Nuclear Dawn for trade. I also have a key for the Alpha (and when it's released, full game) of The Dead Linger.

Thanks for the tip
Too those with the Dota 2 keys, do you know if its possible to send them to people who already have them, I have a few friends I need to infect with Dota.
Also have The Ship and two AirMech copies, C.S. Turtle is your man for those.

The problem is everyone who wants it already has it. Every two months steam sends me more.

I don't think I've got Dota 2... I'd happily take one off your hands!

You can send one to AdmiralMemo on Steam, if you like.General Michi wrote:Ok, seriously guys. I have 18 freaking copies of DOTA 2. Someone take them. Please

Right, so that's two gone, three as soon as Myrph accepts friend request. It feels so good to finally be getting rid of these.
Also, I don't want to sell them. Not because of the tiny amount I'd get but because it seems kinda bad to do that considering I got them for free.

Oh, what the heck; I'll never play a MOBA, but if it means a) I help lessen the burden of so many of these things on you (IIRC, I've still got almost a hundred gMail invites, myself ), and 2) I can increase the size of my Steam library I'm willing to step up. See PM for my steam tag.

Re: The Steam/digital distribution trading/give away thread.
Thanks. However, when trying to activate it, my Steam goes into "Scanning for Steam licenses updates" mode and won't come back and do anything. How exactly am I supposed to install this?General Michi wrote:Right, so that's two gone, three as soon as Myrph accepts friend request. It feels so good to finally be getting rid of these.

Huh, that's odd. It should be a normal install.

Well, this is the link I get: https://store.steampowered.com/account/ ... 0gmail.com
That leads me to: steam://subscriptioninstall/17250
And that's where I get the issue.
Edit: Came across https://support.steampowered.com/kb_art ... -EOGN-4577
That lead me to steam://run/570
That allowed me to install the game.

I should play that through legally some time...
As it is I've got 1,5 BiA games and Fallout 3 to play through, so if someone else wants it I'll happily let them take it.

Re: The Steam/digital distribution trading/give away thread.
I kind of want Bioshock, since I don't think I have the original for Steam. But I'd rather it go to someone else due to the fact that I already have it for PC.

What Kapol said goes equally for me.
Someone who hasn't already played it should get to enjoy it.
