Re: LRRcast for 2013-03-01
I kind of like the idea of spreading out the podcasts over the course of the week and making them shorter. Still wondering what the fourth podcast will be.
So glad to head about Friday Nights coming back and sooner than we think?! Really? Wow thats cool. Was also interesting to hear everyones music choices, I was late getting into music but listen to allot of electronica and rock myself, so it was fun to hear how my taste compares to the crew.

I really like the idea of shorter more frequent podcasts. Once you break the one hour mark no matter how good it is I start to just wander and get bored.
Also it would fill in content for tuesday which is currently the trenches and the big picture.
Also, I really like the answers you gave, sorry about the big break I wanted you to have the opportunity to read the set up without being influenced by the list. I was afraid that someone would say "fine, which is worse, HA HA!"

Re: LRRcast for 2013-03-01
There's only one thing I can think might be off for recording three at once. The crack-a-pack normally ends up being 30-40 minutes if I remember correctly, which is the entire episode. But it's also an interesting segment. That length wouldn't be enough to have crack-a-pack, magic discussion, deck building, and so forth. Have you guys thought about that and, if so, what's your solution?
Re: LRRcast for 2013-03-01
We already recorded them actually
We just didn't linger quite as long on the pack. Took about 10 minutes?

Alright, so you just didn't spend as much time on the packs. I figured that'd be the easiest way, but I was just a bit worried on how it'd work out due to trying to go from 40 minutes down to ~10 minutes.

Big Shiny Tunes 2 was junior high school, my god. I even remember the kid who would say that the Marilyn Manson song wasn't very good if there was an adult around.
The really weird thing is Age of Electric apparently came from a town seriously close to me but somehow I didn't know that until right now.

Have to say I like the new podcast schedule. It'll add more LRR goodness to the rest of my week.
Also really excited to hear about the new series of Friday Nights! Can't wait to see them.

I'm kind of happy to hear that Strip Search won't be one of those one-elimination-per-episode deals. That'll give you time to really flesh things out and give us a better look at the artists.
Or it could just mean you'll be giving us weekly cliffhangers =I
Also, hungover feed dump? Dis gonna be gud.

Totally in favor of the new format. The more often TTC airs, the better in my opinion -_^
Also was totally stoked to hear someone else likes (liked?) Collective Soul.

With the new schedule you'll be airing something almost every day a week? Have you guys gone raving mad?
In all seriousness, I love the idea of the new schedule. More LRR stuff to fill my week with.

I really like the idea of more podcasts per week ^_^ looking forward to the TGWP.
@Drecon: It won't (necessarily) be more minutes per week, it's just that each theme will be addressed each week in a shorter segment.

I Like it!
it means that I can spread my LRR out while "working" rather than hoping for a 1 hour break in the work to watch it...
And if my boss reads this then... look a pony.

I loved your answer to my question, Graham. Also, your "expanded" take on it, Paul, remarking how flexible the scripts are.
Graham wrote:The point is: Nyeh nyeh nyeh. I'm an old man.
LRRcast wrote:Paul: That does not answer that question at all.
James: Who cares about that question? That's a good answer.

I am now annoyed that I never ripped my copy of Big Shiny Tunes 2.

Re: LRRcast for 2013-03-01
BTW, I think the switch to shorter, more frequent 'casts is a great idea. At 30 minutes they're short and snappy and make for good listening, and it seems like they drag less for you guys; 30 minutes is just long enough to talk about a topic before moving on.
