I bet i can remember all the words to the theme off the top of my head, along with the majority of the first 150 or so pokémon.

Is that sad? Or is it just good marketing on Nintendo's part?

I blame that cursed Pokerap. >.<

I personally don't acknowledge the existence of both said Larvitar and Scizor because last time I checked:
There are only 150 Pokemon
The Trading Cards were discontinued after Fossil.
And I refuse to believe otherwise :!:

Plus Scyther kicks plenty of ass without imaginary evolutions. :D

pfft..you all fail. Lavitar sucks. Tyranitar, thats another question. He Pwns all yall. With a base Atk stats thats higher than a fair few legendary pokemon, hes a walking fucktone of power.

Still TOGEPI FTW

But you need Larvitar to get to Tyranitar, unless you trade with someone.

Since we're on the topic of personal illnesses...

When I was a child, I was actually brought to a specialist to have my immune system examined. My father is a radiologist, and he was worried about my irregular health.

Namely the fact that for the first six years of my life, I never got ill. Not once. Not until I got chicken pox in first grade, which only lasted a few days.

I have since suffered only one other major illness. About four years ago I got the flu for the first time. It hit me fairly hard, leaving me mostly unconscious for three days. The year after I got it again. It lasted really just one day. I'm now seemingly immune. I haven't been sick in three years.

No doctor I've gone to can explain my robust immunities. For example, I randomly developed an allergy to strawberries about age eight. It lasted a month, and now I can eat strawberries no problem. I had been told at the time that I might never be able to eat them again. The reversal couldn't be explained. I'm mildly allergic to certain breeds of cats, but given that most of the men in my family are severely allergic to any cats, again, we're in the dark as to my body's resiliance.

To save LRR I would use the fists of Lance Fabulous, Galaxy renouned bounty hunter, soilder of fourtune and second greatest lover in the universe.  He clearly has the credentials to demolish Gamara, and he tamed the fearsome Gracknish(sp?) beast, which is a Giant Turtle just like Gamara.

Wait.. how is that supposed to be BAD? The fact that you are able to get over illnesses in a few days that would take me weeks to recover from is freaky, but it's not a BAD thing.

Well, not so much worried that it was bad, but really puzzled because it just isn't normal. While very unlikely, one possible bad thing could be that it might mean I have an overactive immune system that will prematurely wear itself out, and I'll die at age 50.

However, if you want to talk on the level of a worst case scenario, the thing to be worried about is that we have no clue what exactly is causing it. We don't know if it's genetic, environment-residual, whatever. And what if it is something genetic and someone can figure that out?

Well that sounds great! We can come up with geneticly based disease-defenses! We can.... promote genetic manipulation? Uhh... hmm. If it turns out there's some magic gene to prevent illness, what could that mean to society? Human breeding programs? Have your child's genes pre-emptively spliced today! Gauranteed to prevent most major forms of illness for life!

It's kind of scary thinking what kinds of changes could sweep through humanity if a panacea were to emerge. Long, illness-free life? Sounds great! Can't afford it? Sucks to be you! Say goodby to the gene pool! Marriages based on genetics, human rights conflicted, ignored? Environmental destruction amplified, resources split thin to support the growing population of undying humans?

I'm almost thankful that no one has been able to figure it out so far. It's the kind of thing I just don't want to know, much like "when I'm going to die" and whatnot.

Couldn't you test your immune system to find out the number of white blood cells, and see if there are more or less than a typical male your age?

If Gamara were to attack LRR Graham would throw a potlid at it but its direction would be altered by the wind and hit matt in the head.  The Potlid wouldn't have worked anyways, the only thign that can defeat Gamara is of course macrame

That's just it. I've had my WBC count tested throughout my life, and it averages on the high side. We knew I had a high count, that was obvious, but we did tests to try and figure out what was causing it and why. No dice.

If Gamera attacked, I'd offer Bill.  Gamera would eat Bill, realize how gross it was to have all the crap Bill has eaten being inside of him, and assume that the rest of the people ate the same sort of stuff.  He'd leave ya well enough alone.

This has been one of the most successful LRRcast trivia if not the most successful.

The same thing happened to me when I was like two. Apparently I got over it at some point, because I can eat strawberries just fine.

I actually have a similar thing, though the one time i had Flu i was just violently ill once and just slept the entire day.

Ive got awards from my schools and collage saying 'congratuwelldone for never missing a day of school/collage'.

My only bane is Food poisoning, where it has to be like, super strong food posioning for it to take me down. Ohterwise im never ill...

We should make a tv show about us, teaming up to fight bacteria and viruses all over the world! And our arch nemisis would be the Almight Infesting Diseas Supervillan. the show would start as we'd climb out of a giant medicine jar and don the mighty latex gloves of awsomeness.

.... i need a life..
